Amazing for risotto (a little goes a long way!)
I used this cuttlefish ink to make a squid ink risotto, and it was absolutely perfect! Just a small amount was enough to give the dish a rich, savoury flavour and that beautiful deep black colour. It really elevated the whole meal, making it taste like something straight out of a fine-dining restaurant.

Black ink for cooking
This is great value, for a multi use sized jar. It slightly has a salty taste, but not enough to change the dish being cooked. Only a small amount is required to completely colour a risotto.

a Paste rather than ink
I was hoping that this was liquid but it is a paste (it has a thickening ingredient). I bought it to use in cocktails, so I really needed this to be liquid. I found a workaround by plopping a little into the coktail and then using a blender to get it to disolve. The taste, however, is quite pleasant (fishy as you'd expect).
