AvoDerm Natural Skin and Coat Formula Shampoo for Dogs and Cats

Good product. Coat is left soft, however it should be used with conditioner as my cat got lots of dander afterward without conditioner.

Very nice, not too sudsy, good smelling, rich and easy to rinse dog shampoo! My Chihuahua-Pekingese dog kept scratching, constantly chewing and scratching himself, and I thought it was FOOD allergy. So I bought corn free food. it seemed to help. BUT, as soon as the grass started growing and getting taller, he scratched HARDER. It took a few days for me to figure it out that its allergies from GRASS. So I gave him a bath, which he hates, unless I hold him close to me, and get drenched in the process, and I tried my best to get this shampoo in the places he has hot spots. For the FIRST TIME IN MONTHS he is resting with out scratching constantly! Poor guy! I felt so bad for him, I was willing to let him bite me to bathe him but it was worth it! His peaceful resting is worth it! PHEWWW. So THIS is GREAT PET SHAMPOO! It smells really good and it WORKS!! (If somebody has any tips for a bathing a cranky Chihuahua PLESE TELL ME!!!)

I love this dog shampoo. I love how my dog's coat looks so clean and shiny and smells so good after a shower. Yes, she takes a shower... LOL. I also use on my Bengal cat and he takes a shower too.Make sure you always rinse your pet well with water first, that's where the odor is... trapped in the oils on the dander. Then I massage the shampoo in and leave on for a minute or two before I rinse off completely. This product helped to balance out my dogs coat when she had the worse dandruff and I will not switch to any other brand. She now has a beautiful black coat with no bumps or dandruff. I also give supplements (Liquid human Omega 3 and Canine Probiotics too) also she eats a great diet with both a quality (grain free) limited ingredient kibble and a high protein canned food. My cat has been using Earthbath for two years without any problem, but I was to give this product a shot based on the good reputation on Amazon. This shampoo smells not bad and makes my cat's fur softer than before. But I have noticed lots of dandruff on my cat's back after using this shampoo. Once I switched back to Earthbath cat shampoo, no more dandruff problem.

I have two dogs with allergies & sensitive skin. It has been challenge finding a shampoo that they can tolerate. I was so glad to find AvoDerm. It leaves their hair soft & shiny & it doesn't irritate their skin. As luck would have it-the pet stores stopped carrying it. I was so relieved to find AvoDerm at Amazon. Thank you. I recommend this product to anyone with pets with sensitive skin. Oh, wait! I forgot to mention that AvoDerm is for both dogs & cats so one bottle works for all.

Good shampoo, not as good for lathering like some others but does the job. Smells good too, not some crazy smelly scent but a nice easy to handle scent.

This shampoo is so gentle and leaves such a clean smell on my dog's fur. His fur has been a lot shinier and he stopped scratching altogether. Oh and best of all, a little goes a LONG WAY. My dog is half shihtzu and half cavalier so he has a very full coat with curly undercoat and just a quarter sized dollop of shampoo and the conditioner makes him easier to brush. I will definitely purchase this again. Same for the conditioner.

I have used this shampoo for a few years, it always worked well. I wonder if the company changed the formula to make more profits, it doesn't seem the same
