This mount allowed me to scope an M1 Garand. which to the rifles action a typical mount will not work.

Disapointed
Purchased this because I did not want to drill into my receiver. One set of threads on the elevation adjustment needed to be chased with a tap and the 1/4-28 set screw needed to be replaced. It really needs a 7/8" long set screw for the rear. Now I needed to order a 1/4-28 Heli-Coil kit to re-thread where the main horizontal screw threads into the aluminum mount. This dropped it from a 3 star to 2 stars. This has cost me two more Amazon orders and $45 more dollars to get it right.

B-square sight mount for M-1
This sight rail sold by B-Square is worthless...I have tried to align it and secure it to the rifle with no success. I have taken it to a gunsmith and they have had the same problems. The screws are made of soft metal and strip very easily. The scope sits too high to bring it down with the usual scope adjustments...the closest I have been able to get is approx 8 inches high at 50 yds. Windage is fine.

The item works as advertized but the direction where bad in that they reference tools that were not in the shipment.
