Stupid
The young teen daughter is STUPID as are her relatives who can not keep her from a cell phone. She would not survive long in the real world. Dumb show.

VERY INTENSE
The plot kept me on the edge of my seat. You never knew what was going to happen. It was well worth watching.

Gripping International Thriller
This is a crime story that literally extends from Denmark to New Zealand. The story line is fascinating, the acting is superb and the suspense is gripping. The scenery depicted in the New Zealand segments is beautiful. I enjoy films with subtitles (English for the original Danish).

Views of New Zealand beautiful. Plot weak & very predictalbe.
I usuallylove watching these foreign shows. They're usually pretty good & have the added fun mix of travel, foreign languages & cultures. This plot isn't strong enough to hold attention even with those bonuses. Saw the same plot on Netflix, which isn't known for strong writing & Amazon, which usually is. Broken family, crisis, danger magnified by dysfunction. Seems there always a mouthy teenage daughter who believes she's smarter than everybody else & puts all in greater danger. Oh yes, daughter has to be a decent sketch artist. All characters take stupid actions that increase danger in order for plot to continue. Yada yada yada. Determined single mum takes superhuman actions to save all. Sound familiar? Yes, over and over again. Give us something new!!!!!!

You won't be able to get your time back 😬
This show could be compelling but it is not. The characters are beautiful and could be interesting but they are not. Teen Ida 's father with no game ? Ridiculous characters. Absurd chase movie weak writing of you enjoy these kind of violent suspended reality everyone is a bad guy chase playing off stereotypes and misconceived plot twists this is for you. Not really enjoyable except New Zealand scenes like a lifetime romance turns bad. Predictable and so troupe just annoying as moved forward

More criminal vs. criminal than you’ve ever read in a film previously
Thriller action alternates with set segments so beautiful and endearing you’ll think it’s a travelogue—until brutality and terror strikes another victim. Makes viewer’s blood run hot and cold, and blood is shed often. The story evolves within rival families of the crime world so there are very few “good guys” to cheer for. The plot develops in both Denmark and New Zealand at the same time. On the downside, both languages are spoken. Non-Danish-speaking viewers must read the dialogue via text interpretation or SDH English Subtitles. Personally I found that bothersome, but the story was so intriguing it made up for the inconvenience. So, 4 stars, due to required reading. Fortunately most of the fast action takes place with English spoken. The F-word is pronounced the same in both languages. It is adult viewing, for sure. Dysfunctional family life to the bloody end.Zero Bonus. 6+ hours of feature via 8 episodes:1 Revenge2 Not Far Enough3 Kidnapped4 Fly on the Ointment5 Charity Begins at Home6 Closing In7 Till Death Do Us Part8 The Last Con

Danish Soap Opera
Interesting story and locations- Denmark and New Zealand. But half way through the series, the series became a Danish soap opera- too many unbelievable and irritating characters.

It was a bi-lingual show more Danish than English.
The plot was on the predictable side. Bruno was the only likable character. Wasn't the best foreign show but as an all night binge you do n't want complicated.
