Re: blue knob dist. valve; It's a bit stiff with respect to fine tuning, however, it's perfect as an on-off valve. It fits nice and tight into my rainbird 0.70 OD (solid black) distribution line.

We have extensive gardens, and many many feet of drip irrigation. We are always nicking it with a shovel, and having a variety of connectors, and some extra hose is essential.

I tried these with clamps and they leaked but without clamps they work leak free. They are perfect so far.

Underground tubing connectors worked great for repairs

Very happy now. After trying several different valves offered on Amazon, which didn't fit standard 1/2 inch tubing, these do.Good buy.

Just wiggle them in and the go in just fine, great for my always aching hands.

Either my math is bad or these are actually more suited for 5/8 than 1/2 barbed fittings. I am glad I am using these during summer months, of I would not be able to fit them inside 1/2 irrigation line which was cold. A poor listing in my opinion, and very hard to use.

I bought these to make maybe two changes in my sprinkler system. With so many leftover pieces I made a miniature Eiffel Tower for the Lego ninjas I keep in my flower beds to scare off the local possum family. Win win.
