Great Educational Game for Kids of Different Ages
Shapes Puzzle is a wonderful game for developing a child’s intellect. My three-year-old really enjoys it, and sometimes my nine-year-old plays too. The pieces are high-quality and pleasant to handle. It’s very convenient that the cards and pieces are in separate boxes — easy to store and nothing gets lost. A fantastic choice for both learning and family play!

Great for cognitive skills
My young enjoys this puzzle set a lot and it keeps my young entertained for about 15-20 at 3.5 years. One year later and it’s still being used with no broken pieces so I feel it’s sturdy. Comes in two metal boxes and not plastic which is a big plus. This was definitely a great buy and good value for money.

Great value
Great tool for learning. Three-year-old loves to try to match the pictures while two-year-old loves to do his own thing. Keeps them entertained.

If I could give this 10 stars I would!
I bought this specifically to help my son, who's 3 and a half, wind down before reading his bedtime strory and it works like a charm. He really enjoys puzzles and this keeps him very entertained. We've done one to two cards a night depending on the difficulty and he always asks for more. If you can work on cognitive flexibility AND get him bedtime ready without a fuss it's 10 out of 10 for me!Aside from the above noted parental hack it's worth noting that it comes with a sturdy tin case for all the wooden pieces and a separate tin case for all the cards. The wood pieces seem to be good quality and have smooth edges. I'd be careful with the cards and toddlers that might want to fold them but otherwise your good.

More pieces please
What a great play set, it just needs more pieces. The wood pieces are thin but sturdy, and are brightly painted with no sharp edges. Unfortunately, there just aren't enough of them. There are only two red pieces so if your child has used them to make the ladybug, they can't make any other design with the red pieces unless they take the ladybug apart. If they make the giraffe, they can't make the rocket. If they make the crab, they can't make any other animal because they've used all of the leg pieces. There are only two white circles for eyes, so once used, they can't make another design unless they take the first one apart. May not be a big deal for others, but our little likes to make more than one animal at a time and if she has to take it apart every time, she is less interested in "building" the next animal. And the set comes with 60 cards! On one side of the card is a picture of the animal/object to be built. On the back side of that same card is an illustration of the specific pieces needed to build the design. Most of the designs are simple things most kids would know and recognize - house, dog, bird, ladybug, etc. There was only one card I had to look up "Raphus cucullatus" - it's a Dodo bird; we've decided to call that card "Ralph." Two metal storage tins are provided - one for the cards and one for the wooden pieces. Fun set - it just needs to have about twice as many pieces.

Great quiet toddler activity
This activity literally buys me 30 minutes (sometimes more) of peace! Good quality of wooden shapes, lots of cards and different ways to put them together. On the back side of every card, it shows the pieces needed to guide your child. Different levels of difficulty make for great practice!

Great little open-ended wooden pattern blocks with cards to inspire play
Great little open-ended wooden pattern blocks with cards to inspire play. There are some smaller parts so close supervision, and I would recommend older children 3 and older. No magnets. Stores in tin case that's included.
