Important For Your Dog
It's a very simple process. Wrap the medium sized gel yellow pill in a piece of cheese or sliced chicken breast & down the hatch it goes. My dog doesn't even know. You get enough for 2 months for a very nominal price as it's worth every penny. It keeps my dogs coat nice & shiney & smooth.

Great for allergies
I have a dog in renal failure and she has horrible allergies. I don't like to use steroids for allergy issues but in renal failure, it's not an option even if the condition is really bad. After numerous allergy flare-ups and even being on antibiotics many times for secondary yeast infections due to licking her feet and stomach, I tried fish oil. Taking one a day helped a lot. She was still itching though and the vet said to double it (1 in the a.m. and 1 in the p.m.) They don't overdose on fish oil. There is no toxicity but if you exceed their capacity to absorb it, your dog may get diarrhea. If this happens just lower the dose.I've gone from washing her feet every time she comes in and a full bath every few days, to having a 'normal' dog with no allergies. She's been taking it for 3 years. :)Remember, in fish oil, it's not about the Milligrams of the pill, it's about EPA and DHA.eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)You'll find the mgs on the back of the bottle. :)Dosing: Multiply your dogs weight in pounds by 20. For example, if your dog weighs 15 lbs, you multiply that by 20 mg/lb to get a target dose of 300 mg of EPA. Target dose for a 50 lb dog is 1000 mg of EPA. Target dose for a 100 lb dog is 2000 mg EPA. That is all the math you'll have to do!

Product works, but slow shipping and skeptical packaging
The product is great! My dog is 25lbs and a cocker spaniel mix and he had a few skin issues previous to this product and now his hair and skin is beautiful. I bought this product based on reviews. I decided to take my dog off the Kirkland (human) fish oil and decided that dog fish oil would be better for him and I didn't like the idea of the pump ones (cause of messiness and inconvience for travel) so found this one and it is working great so far. However, I received the product with no safety seal on the outside or inside. I contacted the supplier about this is issue and he wrote back in 2 days and reassured that the manufacturer packaging was like that. When I looked closely at the bottle, it was filled to the top (which I thought was strange) but then I realized that the foam safety seal inside must have twisted off with the cap. So therefore, I used it with my dog and he is fine, I would probably purchase here again cause of the price and reviews and it's not really available at pet stores. I must say though, 4 stars is because the delivery took quite long considering this vendor is actually only 1hr away from my house from driving, so I can't imagine shipping it took about 1.5 weeks to receive.

Fussy cat likes this
Got a small bottle of this from the vet. Cat likes this, started looking for it. lasted a month? Tried two other pump-jar brands from P.Co, and the cat turned his nose up to those.Gel capsules. A poke with a push-pin, and spray it onto the food. Has not cured the skin condition, but I think it helps with the shedding. He's so fussy that he won't eat any canned food (or does and then pukes it), so this is a good dietary supplement to his moistened dry food.

Getting the liquid out is easy. Ignore the negative reviews
I wanted to leave a review because I want people to ignore the bad reviews if you know what you're doing to get the liquid out of the pills. These are big pills, so puncturing them and spreading the liquid on your pet's food is the best option, and it states in the directions for that to be an option. Maybe a dog could eat the pills. I don't see my cat eating these big pills. People in the negative reviews said it's hard to puncture to get the liquid out. No, it is not. I put a picture to show what I use. I punctured it with a push pin and just keep it in a shot glass next to the bottle. And you could see my cat is eating it in his food. I also want to say you can't always trust negative reviews or five stars. Because I have gotten things with not five stars that I love and things that got five stars, and broke within a couple of weeks or months. So I want people to know that this was easy to puncture and how to do it 😻
