This item meets it's description and is excellent value for money.
Build quality is very good. Setting the code is very simple. Item works perfectly. I have used it on an outdoor tool shed and being a 2 pack, I have one spare for the future when our typical British weather degrades the quality of the first. Obviously I can not test the longevity of the product nor how it will stand up to a harsh winter outdoors but, for any indoor application it should last a long time. Very happy with this purchase.

Good budget buy
Not really heavy duty, but a good budget buy. Pleased.

Average
I followed the instructions for setting the code on both of my padlocks. However, only on one of them does the code work, meaning that when setting the other padlock's code I must have accidentally moved one of the numbers to change the code to something which I no longer know. I can confirm they are very sturdy and hard to break as I've tried to reset this one padlock. Therefore if you take a lot of care when setting them, they are very good- otherwise, a bit of a waste of money as it is too good that I cannot break in to my own padlock, or work out the code I supposedly set!

They can seize up and stop working
One lasted a couple of years though would occasionally and temporarily seize up and you couldn't turn the dials... until you could. Then the first one just seized up entirely for good, so I started using the other one and the mechanism just stopped working after 2 gym sessions. Personally, I'd go for an alternative as these are a little flimsy, though the cheapest I could find.

Combination padlocks
These are pretty good padlocks when security isn’t a serious issue - perfect for my garden shed. Combination locks don’t really stop serious criminals, but these are great for keeping honest people out. No key to remember, the combination can be altered very very easily, as long as you know the numbers in the first place. I don’t think they will rust, but a little oil might be a good idea anyway. Nice positive click to the mechanics, I tried to open one by feel, and you really can’t.

Tumblers are useless on these locks
Could not change tumblers on both locks to a new number, 3 people tired to no avail. The tumblers are not up to the job, they stick all the time and glad this happened at the beginning and not after I managed to set a new number would have had to hacksaw the locks off/

Very flimsy looking
I brought these as they were half the price as the ones in the supermarket so they are arguably good value… however they are som flimsy that I am nervous about using them in the gym as I suspect they could be easily broken. If you need a cheap lock and the only thing you’ll loose if it’s broken is your towel then it’s worth the money I suppose!

Good lock great value for money
Great locks quite sturdy considering the price use them for my back Garden gate and they do well in the weather. However changing the code is rather tricky.
