Despite following all the suggestions from the memory foam mattress manufacturer and the youtube videos we watched, the new memory foam mattress purchased last Summer was just too firm for both of us but especially my Wife.We had purchased a mattress pad from the same company a year or two ago for an old water bed mattress and were pleased with it but we got the new bed this past Summer and needed a smaller size. They are a USA based business and veteran owned so we had both experience and trust with them.They did not disappoint with this latest mattress pad. It has really helped soften the surface we now sleep and nap on and has alleviated some of the sleepless nights my Wife was experiencing from our too firm of a new mattress.We give it a definite 5 star rating but would note to others considering this pad to read the washing instructions carefully. We have a ringer washer and it specifically states not to use that to wash it so luckily, in our case, our Daughter has one of the newer type washers and was able to wash it for us.

The mattress pad in the image is definitely more padded than the one I received, but there was a noticeable difference in softness after I put the one I got on the bed. I might still put my old one on under it to see it is any softer and more comfortable. I've tried several mattress pads, and this one is definitely better than the others I've tried. It's really my last resort before giving in and buying a new mattress.

I have to fight my cat for my side of the bed!

She loved it. We are living in the tropics so we need something cooling for sleep. It wasnt cooling but it definitely didnt retain much heat, was pretty soft and comfy to sleep in for her.
