Easy to use
I couldn't get an appointment for a groomer short of 6 weeks out into the middle of summer heat and my little girl dog was panting from the fur coat that she was wearing. She's half chihuahua and half pekinese and the pek takes over with a heavy undercoat. I decided on a lion cut because I find it soothing to pet her silky hair and the style hit both buttons. Never tried grooming a dog before, it takes some time, but the equipment all worked well and we got a fair job done. -And now everyone takes joy in observing my "little lion", and they all recognize the style.

Quiet and smooth operation, and fantastic ROI!
Before the purchase I was a bit skeptical whether I could do it or not (or more likely whether the outcome would be acceptable or not), but what a surprise! The clipper's super quiet and low buzzing sound didn't scare my dog who can be startled by anything. Now the shaving part is a lot harder than what appears in clips on youtube but it's manageable - mostly to do with those tricky spots like around ears, arms pits, around face, etc. But I did it in 30min. And the result was no worse than PetSmart salon's where I usually spent $60 each time. Even with just one session the clipper paid off itself and much more. What a great return on investment!

Great product and complete kit you'll ever need
My Shih Tzu is due for grooming visit but the lockdown forced me to groom him myself. I usually only give him a sanitary trim but now I was able to give him a full summer cut. First of all, I love how the clipper doesn't get hot at all despite using it continuously. The battery life is also good; I fully charged the clipper before first use, and I was able to use it for almost 2 hours before it died on me. I like how I have everything I need to give him a full groom including clipping his nails. The nail clipper is easy to use, but it's the first time I used it, so I am not really confident on how to handle it (that's just user issue). Overall, great value for money and easy to use for a beginner and untrained groomer like me.

Quiet & good for the $$
These clippers are very quiet-no loud click when turned on or buzz when running. My most skittish dog will sit quietly for me. I do have to stop the trimmers a lot to clear hair out of the comb & re-oil the unit. NOTE- oil is not included. The nail trimmers seem to work decently. The come is a good weight. The straight scissors are good enough. But the thinning scissors don’t seem to want to cut much at all. I have tried several adjustments with the tension screw with no success. There are no care directions included. The charge is sufficient for me to get through one of my dogs. People with more experience may do better.

Does the job!
I spent less on this than what it costs to get my dog groomed once so its money well spent in my mind! My dog is about 25lbs so it does the job for us. You need to be sure to knock off the hair from the clippers when trimming the hair while it is longer or it wont be as effective, as you would expect when the tiny hairs build up. So as long as you don't forget to do that it works pretty well. If hair is long its best to cut it down half way and then do another cut down to the shorter length. Cordless is definitely the way to go. This one isn't too noisy but don't expect it to be silent - it's quieter than my dog's nail grinder though! I haven't used any other clippers but I would recommend this one.

Ok for thin coated animals.
These are pretty good. My mother have a Yorki/pom and he is pretty old so he has very thin, fine textured hair. I think if you have a pet with thick fur you will have a problem getting the clippers through it's hair. I haven't tried the shears yet so I couldn't give a review on that. They keep a good charge and aren't loud.

UNBELIEVABLE CLIPPERS
Our dog had no issues when we used it, cannot believe we didn't buy this several grooming visits before. It really is whisper quiet and cuts through the hair easily, no nips, no cuts, highly recommend!!

Great for tuch up clean up
I got these as a back up to other regular plug in clippers. I was excited as they charge pretty quickly and the noise was super low. However they had hard time cutting the 3 inch hair on my 18lb Havaneese puppy. I end up using my other trimmers and then using these for the feet, face and butt tuch up clean up. The charge held pretty good- about 35-40 min. The combs attachment are pretty easy to put on but hard to get off. The seazors that come with the package are not sharp at all so it makes them pointless to have.
