This Chat Marsala is as expected
This is my second time buying this particular chat Marsala, I’ve grown to love it. I put it on salads and soups, casseroles and vegetables. So good! I have not had a lot of other brands of chat marsala’s, but the other brand that I tried was quite similar. It does contain salt, but I enjoy the flavor of salt. Also, it’s not an overwhelming amount of salt in my opinion. and I have not been put on a salt restricted diet. So if you’re salt sensitive, this might be a bit much for you. I love the slight twang that this product has and the complexity of spicy flavors along with a hint of black salt. Quite tasty! It’s called chunky chat marsala, but it doesn’t seem any more chunky than the other chat marsala that I’ve tried.it also has a wonderful fragrance. and for the quantity you get in the price, this was my top choice. And I think the quality is quite good. It also is quite fresh with a freshness a date into next year.

Versatile Indian Spice
Great for all kinds of traditional Chaats. Wonder smell and taste giving you food authentic flavor. I recommend trying it out on other foods like popcorn or fried potatoes.

A little hot, but taste great even by itself
Love this stuff. Tastes great! It has a little heat to it, but not overwhelming. Cons It is a little expensive for the small amount you get.

Right spice for right purpose
Can't find it in a store near my vacation spot, so I ordered online. Much more expensive than at my local indian grocery stores at home, but it was either order or do without. Reasonable expiry date.

Chunky Chat is a savory blend that pumps up the flavor of fruits and vegetables. I tasted it on papaya during a trip to India. Back in the US it has become the quintessential sprinkle with corn on the cob; grilled or boiled, buttered, sprinkled with Chunky Chat and a squeeze of fresh lime. I recently used it in gazpacho I put together that included both peaches and watermelon. It brings out the best in summer’s bounty.
