This mic performs as promised. Sound quality is great. I have used it in public places and the directional function works great, better than I expected. It is a little awkward to have to use the prong like plugin along with an adapter for the iPhone X Max but it works great. A recommendation would be to tool an adapter that fits directly on the mic broadcast unit for the iPhone X Max so it doesn't hang down so much from the phone. However, the current adapter is workable for the price point on this product. I have tried the mic at about 75 ft to see if it would work and it works just fine. You don't want to put anything between the broadcast unit and the mic receiver as that interferes with the transmission, e.g. like putting the mic receiver on the back of your body. I put the receiver on the outside of my front pocket. Very satisfied with this mic. I will say you need to charge both the broadcast unit and mic receiver just before you use it. It seems to lose its charge if there are more than 24 hours between use. This is something I do as a matter of preparation anyway. The charge time during operation is per the specs of the unit. I would recommend this mic as a great buy for the price point.

I learned using a spliter to separate the mic input and the headphone output  to my android phone.  To my surprise they included the Y spliter. When I attached the adapter and made a video on my phone,walking and talking all through the house (a distance of up to about 50 ft) the recording was continuously perfectly clear. Really really glad I made this purchase

Do not bother with this, at first it seems to be a great buy for short range wireless lav for recording. except the transmitter you have the mic on starts to cut out randomly you cant tell until you review the recorded audio footage.When it actually sends audio it sounds great. but cutting out due to bad soldering means you will not get what audio you wanted.

The product advertises that the range for the mic is up to 100ft. This is very inaccurate, at least in my case. The mic cuts in and out and loses signal at about 15 feet away. I would be happy with that considering I was never planning to use the microphone from a far distance, but it is very inconsistent with its signal strength and sometimes even cuts out and has bad quality audio from 3 or 4 feet away from the receiver. Overall I'm pretty unhappy with the product. Not sure if I got one that was faulty or if all of them are just bad quality, but if you're looking for a more consistent and high quality wireless mic, I would say spend the extra few dollars and find something else.

It is amazing how poorly this product works. Be careful. There are alot of these disguised by other brand names that I imagine are equally useless. NOTHING BUT STATIC was what was heard when I started my presentation. I had to go mic-less and yell.

Extremely simple and easy to set up... I use it with my iPhone 7+. Not like other mics, which are unnecessarily complicated. I bought the app FilMicPro, ($15), and the sound quality was not great at all. Garbage actually. But sound quality is amazing using the default iPhone mic. Worked nicely from over 100 feet away too.

The mic works adequately for me. However, it continually recorded a gargling noise when my friend tried to use it. He does not have an obvious gargle to his voice so we do not understand what is happening. I bought it primarily to tape his speeches. All we can figure is that it his my friend's tone that is somehow being distorted.

I have been having trouble trying to use the MIcrophone with my video camera. The device connects properly and records the sound, however, there is a very loud white noise in the background that I am unable to get rid of no matter how much I try to lower the volume. My previous mic of the same brand did not have the issue.
