Black Canvas Punching Bag with Chains

This thing is awesome! For 20 bucks you really can’t beat it. Great for arnis stick training. I am now a black belt and I threw everything I had at it and it survived like it was nothing! One problem with it is it did no come filled but it was not a big deal. I filled it with old clothes and sand and it performs really well. The last issue is that there was some minor ripping where the chains attach to the bad and the surface of the bag is a little rough but otherwise it is an amazing product! I am giving it a five star because these problems are not specific to this punching bag these are common flaws across all punching bags. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

This is truly a case where I thought the price would indicate lower quality and it was NOT the case! My son wanted a punching bag to hand in our car port and picked this one because he could afford it. I was skeptical but when we opened the box I wasreally impressed with the quality of canvas, the connection of the chains, and the size. It was perfect for my 11 year old son. You can fill it with whatever material you want for the level of weight and punch you want. We filed it with old T-shirts and plastic bags and it works great. I recommend this for kids who want more than a plastic inflatable but don't need the expensive heavy duty wavemasters.

I have purchased three of these bags over the past four years. I fill mine mostly with old shirts and rags. This bag lasts about a year and then it rips apart where the chains attach to the bag. For the expense this seems like an OK compromise. I live in the SoCal desert and this bag gets plenty of heat and sun but not too much rain. Good while it lasts.

The only issue is the othside esthetic black fabric tore on each hanger but the actual load bearing fabric isn't fazed at all. I'm a big guy I beat on it and it holds up just fine. I have sandbags in it also so it hold the weight as well. U can't really beat the price. Even better than buying one of marketplace. But if u can cop a ripped bag for super cheap then refill this one. It's money.

Perfect for someone looking for an inexpensive, durable unfilled canvas heavy bag. Fill it light or heavy, this bag with hold up to many good workouts. Prior to filling the bag, research what material is best to use. Straight sand or dense sawdust works well, but settles and makes the bag heavy and hard to hit. Old cloths and rags provide decent packing material, but leaves the bag light and with soft pockets. I found that filling 1 gallon bags storage bags with sawdust or shavings works very well. Some research suggests duck taping the filled gallon bags for increased protection, but recently I removed packing to increase the bags density, and out of dozens of filled bags, only 1 was broke. What was suggested, and so far I've found to work, is find some clean shavings or sawdust. Remember that shavings are thicker, lighter, and will take up more room. Lean towards CLEAN sawdust if you can. Fill 2, 1 gallon bags 3/4 full. Push out the air and seal. Put those, evenly, in the bottom of the bag. Pack on them a layer of cloth material. Now, repeat this until you reach the top of the bag and can still close the zipper. ITS VERY IMPORTANT to make sure you compress each layer as you go. This ensures somewhat equal padding throughout the bag. Keep in mind that, as you compress, some material may pop out of the bags. That's ok. Still better than pouring it in freely. For less than 20.00, if I had room, I'd buy a dozen for presents. Treat it like any other piece of equipment, and you should enjoy it for a long time.

I purchased this bag because the 70lb heavy bag I had was too heavy for where I mounted it. So I wanted to be able to control the weight. I lined it with an old yoga mat so it would not be lumpy then filled it up with leftover carpet padding. In the end it weighs 25lbs so it is super lightweight. Yet despite its light weight it is coming apart already after one 10 min use. So maybe 100 hits ... And I am no Tyson either. I had high hopes but ultimately letdown. Pros: Bag looks good Canvas appears to be solid material Chains appear well made Good price Cons Stitching started coming apart after one use on every side.

I was in the middle of my heavy bag boxing routine. When my bag tore from the anchoring seams. Needless to say I wasn't exactly happy about having to buy another bag. 80.00 is what they are running. So...I decided to see if I could find another option. I bought this and at first glance I wasn't sure about the durability. I transfered all the material from my old bag and packed it all into this bag. To my surprise it filled our rather nicely. The bag is very durable and the material is solid. The chains have the swiveling ring so the bag doesn't sway very much. Very simple packaging and very light weight. I'm a extremely happy with my experience and purchase.

So this is inexpensive, which is nice. But with regular (2x-4x per week) use, it also lasts a fairly short period of time. We've had three of these now, and depending on what breaks/rips, my son has been able to repair or replace certain parts to extend the life. But this last one lasted less than 2 months. (The problem is always either the metal parts breaking or the fabric ripping away from the metal, either of which impacts the bag's ability to be hung and therefore used.)

Grosse déception :-( A peine quelques semaines après l’installation , les coutures se cassent les unes après les autres . La charge est bonne et l’utilisation est respectée. La zone de frappe également ( les paires de gants utilisées sont conformes ). C’est un enfant de 10 ans qui l’utilise de façon ponctuelle . Malgré cela les coutures qui tiennent les sangles au bandeau de (faux) cuir sont déchirées . Dès le premier jour le lin qui constitue le sac de frappe à craquer sous un coup de poing .

The bag description was wrong, it said the bag was 50 inches long but it was actually only 40 inches long. I contacted the manufacturer and they rectified the issue, and have since updated their Amazon description. This bag is of good quality. It has a zipper at the top, which made filling it easier. I had an old couch that I was throwing away, so I used that couch's filling inside this bag. My kids are in Tae Kwon Do and they love punching and kicking this thing.

My son (10) loves this. Fantastic value for money, proper punching bag. We stuffed it with old throws, jumpers and blankets and it does the job 🥊

This was better than expected. Decent thickness to Canvas and extra sturdy construction. I am adding the review one year after this has hug outside in the weather and its still in great shape. This one is well worth the money.
