The Mighty Mandolin Chord Songbook

This is a good book for mandolin players but the book itself could have been bigger.

Great book. Very helpful

Loads of songs. My only complaint is the small size of the book. It's hard to read from a music stand and hard to keep open. This one would be better in the same size print as the other Hal books - and maybe even with a coil binding.

The book does not come with any type of musical notation. It is just lyrics with the mandolin chords above the words. Yes, they do have little mandolin chord boxes to show you how to form the chords but other than that it's just Lyrics with Chords. You can download many songs off of the Internet that will tell you the lyrics and chords to many songs. I guess if you don't read music or tab this won't be a problem for you but for the price it's just not worth the money. Sending mine back :-( Sadly, the "Look Inside" Feature didn't work or I wouldn't even have ordered it in the first place. Save your money.
