This is perfect for back washing or filter. The hose is great quality. It was a great fit. It was lightweight but sturdy enough to do the job and do it well it was long enough that you could drag it through your yard so that you don’t have a pile wet by the pool. I would highly recommend this to anybody.

Bought this to hook up to sump pump hose. This hose is 1.5 inches. Sump hose was 1.25, but would not fit inside. Had to use a reducer to 1 inch to get it to fit. I should have bought the 2 inch hose. Whatever size you think you need, go bigger, and but hose clamps. Overall, its sturdy and works well. Drains well. Works best I'll n straight line or slight curve. Folds if you curve it too much. Gets heavy when rolling up 100 ft. I carry the hose, sump pump, and connection fittings in a 5gal bucket.

I connected this hose to my rain barrel discharge line and now I can pump rain water well away from my foundation and into the yard to water my trees. It seems durable as it has been in the sun all summer and shows no signs of deterioration from the UV rays or daytime high temps (highs in mid to upper 80s). I try to keep the kinks out of the hose and make broad bends around the 90 degree corners of my house. Even small kinks will disappear when the sump pump begins.

The hose is strong and seems durable. I am very pleased with it.Unfortunately we just experienced heavy rain which caused our pool to nearly overflow. I ran out in the lightning and rain to unscrew the brackets so I could waste the pool water…and the screws are rusted - immovable. I had to cut the hose.Really a shame they’d cheap on what’s kind of an important part of an otherwise very good product.
