Great game for Suda51 fans
I love this game, being a fan of Suda51's previous games. That being said there have been many mediocre reviews I've seen so I'll point out the flaws in this game first:The game is short, I beat it in 7-8 hours. I enjoyed it enough to play it some more after beating it but besides score chasing there isn't too much re-playability here. The game is not for the people that like to see realistic graphics (obviously I would think) and environmental destruction. It has Suda's signature flair to the visuals and sounds/music, but if you haven't played any of his games you should watch a couple gameplay videos first.Apparently the fact that you have to look at women's breasts is a downside to some critics, but I had absolutely no problem with it.Now for the good stuff:The combat seemed smoother and more polished than any other Suda game. Hacking apart enemies with the stylized blood spatter is very fun.The story was pure Suda and was nice and dark. The visual style is very different, and I found it very refreshing and reminiscent of some anime I've seen. I planned on getting this game eventually, but watching the trailers is what made me preorder. So I guess to conclude:Suda51 fans - buy this gamePeople looking for something different visually and storywise - watch some trailers, then buy this gamePeople that don't like quirky Japanese games - You don't exist

Amazing Game
Amazing game, good Graphics, nice sound track, not bottom mashing but Awesome and deep gameplay, beautiful Art style which fit the game perfectly, side quests and challenges are nice and challenging and of course Love the Gigolo Missions, story isn't that bad we've seen worse its More a like a Dark Anime story, which fits just right with this game game and Suda's Style. It's unique and Fresh, and a Nice fast pac Action game and its a decent one, much more like Bayonetta and Devil May Cry actually it's better than Current generation Devil May Cry don't concern about those reviewers out there who became just a business tools, and gives game such as Call of Duty the same high score for years for the same game with no innovation, we want more different games and styles with fresh ideas like this one, FPS killed this generation and killed innovation.I wish it was a little longer though. Please go buy this game, it deserves gamers supports

Killer is gone -- as in, traded for another game.
killer7 is my favorite game of all time. As perfect and awe-inspiring and terrifying and beautiful and mysterious as any game has a right to be. Grasshopper Manufacture (GHM) was really somthing back then. Sadly, since killer7 got SUDA 51 and GHM some notice, and Grasshopper's next game, No More Heroes, did moderately well, GHM has put out nothing but fan service. GHM's games have been so mediocre, uninspired, almost phoned in, that I'd not be surprised if SUDA had nothing to do with killer7, and that it was all Mikami putting together a brilliant team working at full insirpiration with SUDA as a front man in a Lucha Libre mask on publicity. (From the killer7 era there is also the awesome God Hand, a Clover game that Mikami worked on. Then Mikami made the awesome Vanquish while GHM made the wretched Lollipop Chainsaw. You see where this is going.). So now we have, unfortunately, Killer is Dead. Absolutely, without doubt, the most boring, annoying, insulting, pointless game in GHM's catalog, and that's saying something. I can't say one good thing about this game so I won't even begin, but those who have kidded themselves into thinking there's depth here, or anything here, have taken gratuitous and promiscuous chess references, Audry Hepburn references, and the "charm" of narrative game tropes that were cliches 20 years ago in Japanese RPGs (wacky sidekick, macho boss, sibling conflict) the wrong way. GHM isn't challenging you; it's mocking your hope that the chess references etc. actually mean something. Do yourself a favor. Go back and check out Flower, Sun and Rain, killer7, Michigan, any of the Silver Case games, and compare them to this. It won't be pretty, but it will be insightful. I hated this game, and I'd like to thank SUDA and GHM for exposing themselves as the frauds they are. Punk is dead at GHM; No More Games, please.
