Touch screen lock feature is TOO sensitive
While the build quality and installation are great - I had to disable the quick lock feature on the key pad because even the simplest bump or touch of the pad while unlocked causes the lock to activate and for a high use door we kept closing the door on the extended deadbolt causing damage to the door and the door frame trim. Yale needs to add programming features so that you can change the quick lock pattern to multiple touches or SOMETHING ELSE other than a simple touch. Holding door open with my back/elbow while entering triggers the deadbolt - it became infuriating. Almost returned the product over it.

cheap, and unsecure
I have 20 plus years experience working on locks, and own two successful lock/door companies. I wouldn't give this to one of my customers with this cheap latch. I have experience with the commercial version of this lock, and bought one for my fathers new house. Unless you have access to a better deadbolt latch you do not want this lock. The latch is cheap, and unsecure. I ended up keeping the lock, but swapped latches out with a competitors brand. Pictures above show the throw of the deadbolt, show how it mechanical fails even the eye test let alone how flimsy it is. The adjustment doesn't hold which causes latch to move when force is put on it. Yale should do better I highly suggest another lock unless you have spare parts to swap out.BDQ LocksmithBrett Quader

Buy the handle on your own, buy the module (of it'll ever become available again)
Forego the buttom handle. Mine didn't align with the existing holes on my door and I didn't want to drill more holes so ended up buying one separately.I had to make the deadbolt hole deeper by a little bit in order for it to close properly, otherwise it would unlock itself. Learned that ANY LOCK that doesn't extend all the way can be pushed in to open.If it's available... BUY THE Z MODULE... It's $49 from Yale (as of 1/23/2022) and $59 - $65 from 3rd party, but why pay more when you can get it straight from the source that vouched for it.

Does not come with the Mechanism that makes it Smart
I want to be clear, I love this lock, I love the features, I am happy with my purchase. The only reason I am giving a 3 star review is because I felt like I tried my best to understand why this felt like such a deal. I realized upon receiving the lock that it does not include the smart mechanism, so you are essentially buying a deadbolt lock. You need to purchase the "brain" separately. FYI. Again I am only giving this a 3 star cause I feel the description isn't very clear, you will need to also purchase the portion of the lock that makes it a smart autolock.

Occasionally works as advertised
So I wanted to reduce the number of keys on my keyring and this was a big part of that plan. And, I will say, that it does, occasionally work as advertised. What it is supposed to do is unlock when you are coming back and lock once you get X distance away. Your phone beeps telling you the door is unlocking, then the lock beeps letting you know it's unlocked. If you forge your phone you flat palm the lock and enter in your code. Flat palm when unlocked to lock. So, here's what it usually does - 1. My phone beeps saying the door is unlocking. But the door doesn't unlock. 2. The lock beeps, but my phone doesn't. The door is unlocked. 3. Neither my phone nor the lock beeps but the door is unlocked. So I hit to bring up the keypad and the door locks. The "door sense" only works when I go to close the door. Then it will swing into action and stick out the latch just in time to damage the door frame. When it does work, it's good. And, it's nice to be able to give a temporary code to visitors and workmen coming in to do stuff. But, if I could go back, I would likely buy something else.

False Advertising
Do not buy this lock if you expect to hook up to Alexa and/or Ring out of the box. This description includes "Included Components: Assure Lock SL, Z-Wave Plus Smart Module, Ridgefield Handleset" However it does NOT include the Z-Wave Plus Smart Module and without it all you have is a keypad lock. Mine also had missing parts to secure the ladle to the door (sadly I tried to install past the return window) and getting anyone to get back to you from Yale is basically impossible. If you're buying this anyone, willing to pay the extra $60 for the Z-Wave Plus Smart Module make sure it's available first - it's been sold out for MONTHS.

Decent Lockset, can be quirky
Love this concept. We have it on the side door that everyone uses. We can set up multiple codes. The trick of using 3 fingers to activate it can be challenging. I find myself having to press the keypad multiple times. But it works well otherwise. For the install, the electronic part was easy, the actual passage set for the bottom doorknob was more difficult. We had an issue with the actual locking mechanism in the passage set, it sticks.... which could be a problem (keep us from getting into the house)....

Looks great, like the features, touchy install
Bought combination set and added the z-wave module to integrate into smart things and ring alarm system. Zero issues with integration. The keypad/deadbolt went on pretty simply, replaced builder standard cylinder lock and handle (no modification of door required for lock). Bolt was longer than preexisting lock, some modification of the door frame needed to accommodate the length of the new deadbolt. The handle required more time to install, caution don’t over tighten the screws/twist the inside handle when securing to the door, this caused the handle piece to not retract/extend when the knob is turned or lever on the outside handle is depressed. Once I figured that out, it works as it should. Overall very satisfied.

Good build quality.
I bought the Schlage door set and the lock deadbolkt was always iffy in the winter. I did n't want to buy Schlage again so I tried the Yale. It was more expensive but the quality seems better. Although this lock does not have a keyed entry, hopefully I won't need it. IEven with the key the schlage lock would just turn and turn and not egage the dead bolt (sometimes in the winter). I might get the smart lock add-in but happy with the deadbolt and handset so far. I will edit this in a year or so.

Supplied non-standard parts
Latch set did not work. Manufacturer did not ship a standard spring latch option for drive-in bolts. Very poor design. Installation instructions applied to the proper drive-in bolt, but the manufacturer will not honour this and wants us to purchase additional parts.

Missing parts
I had ordered the lock with the handle, but ended up only receiving the handle part without the lock. What a terrible product i strongly recommend to look somewhere else.
