Beautiful Pottery!
This bowl is excellent in terms of aesthetics and quality. What a find on Amazon! This bowl feels really nice as I have drink matcha. Some of the heat from the tea does pass through the bowl but is a pleasant sensation on my hands.

Very special gift
This bowl was a gift for someone who has used it regularly since he received it. I've been thanked over and over for it, so I know it was the perfect gift! The feel of this bowl in the hands is as beautiful as its appearance.

Feels good!
The tea bowl looks very much like the image on the website. It is solid, but not too heavy. It feels like good quality pottery. It's shape makes whisking easier with less splashing of the tea.

Arrived Damaged, not properly shipped or wrapped
I do not understand why a beautiful tea cup would not be properly shipped. It arrived in its box shattered in a million pieces. I'm very disappointed with the service.

Delivered chipped; replacement was chipped
The items that I received were not handled well at some point*s). The first one was shipped in a nice box, but showed wear signs of having been stacked. The replacement was shipped in a soft mailer and bubble pack only--no box. If you want a nice piece of pottery enhance your enjoyment of matcha, I suggest buying it from a seller who cares more about the condition of their merchandise.
