We bought this for our 1 year old.Absolutely loved it. Unfortunately it did break when my husband tried to clean it but was fantastic for a 1 year old.

This gift kept the little guys busy and excited at his first wood project. Easy instructions and fun together project. A perfect starter project for guys or girls in my opinion! His project turned out great and very proud of his accomplishment! Hurray, a winner gift!

My son is 4 and has been asking for a bird house so I found this one. I was happy I didn’t have to assemble. The paint cups were hard to open and only came with one paint brush. Paint does dry fast on the wood and may have to apply a few coats to make colors pop. It’s seems pretty sturdy so I guess it’s a waiting game once I put bird food in. Still a very cute fun toddler/preschool age friendly activity.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 4 year old son because he’s always pretending to be a duck hunter like dad. If he can get his hands on my real calls he’ll play with them until you get sick of it, when he opened this present and tried it out I couldn’t believe how well it sounded. Almost have to add one to my call collection. Would work great out hunting

I purchased this bug house kit for a toddlers birthday, unfortunately upon opening the box all the dowels fell out of the house. It appears the glue holding them together does absolutely nothing. We had to use our own wood glue to place them back in the house which felt like it was defeating the purpose of getting a pre built kit. The rest of the items were included in the kit as advertised and the recipient loved this gift and are looking forward to painting it.

Overall very satisfied with the quality and experience making this with my 4.5 year old who is currently interested in animals and animal habitats. The directions leave something to be desired but it’s still easy to figure out and it’s good for kids to see how an adult they trust handles a little ambiguity and uncertainty. It helps get them involved in thinking things through too.And the directions aren’t lacking THAT much… it says things like “Tip, don’t hammer the nails in fully at first so you have wiggle room to slide in the walls.” And that provided a learning opportunity for my kid… he understood well enough when I explained why.A few bits of information and suggestions that may help others: I bought a separate assortment of outdoor paints and already have nice (ish) brushes and glad I did because this comes with one of those rinky dinky four-color selection with very tiny paint brush. Also, at end, the directions name three bird species that are likely to enjoy the (small) house: chickadees, nuthatches, and finches. And I think I saw another reviewer same some wrens live in theirs. So yeah, it’s small and may just end up being a wasp nest house 🙄 but the size was perfect for assembling and painting without spending a lot of time or money, especially for kid hands/attention.

The bird house is small but it's wort the price. It makes a sturdy impression and it's great that it comes with a brush. We mixed the colors to make other colors. Our toddler had fun painting it.

My kids loved painting their bird feeders! The quality is great. I only wish they provided more paint colors. However, if you have lots of paint on hand like me, you'll be set. I plan on ordering more from this company!

I got this item last week and it wasn’t working all i think it froze in transport 🤔so I contacted the company by email and got a reply for Julian and he said he would replace it no problem 😌 and I just got it today and it works amazing 🤩 ty again for awesome customer service and client satisfaction 😊

No surprises, I think that this is super cute and fun for the kids to paint and hang up. Works perfectly and I thing that the price is worth it.
