Clover B14A Hot and Cold Bottled Water Dispenser

This Clover B14A is a really excellent water dispenser. When I first got it, I plugged it into the wall socket. put on a five gallon bottle of spring water (Mountain Valley) with the special, but standard cap for water bottles. Then I turned the setting for the cold water to maximum and I pressed the red button to on for the hot water. After a short time, the cold water was ice cold. It's the coldest water I've ever had from a water dispenser, and it's great. It'a about 35 deg. F and that's the way I like it. But you can turn the cold adjustment lower if you like. So the cold water is great. But my hot water wasn't working. So I contacted the seller who put me in touch with tech support. And all I had to do was click the white resent button that is about five inches inside the back grating. That was easy. And now I have piping hot water perfect for tea, coffee, or instant breakfast cereals. It's a handsome looking water dispenser, perfect height for installing and removing the water bottles. Water taste great. The unit is completely silent. I've never heard a peep from it. So this is really an excellent water dispenser. You won't find better. And I used to have one that cost $800. It was good. But I kind of like this one better. To get the cold water, just push the cup into the back lever and the cold water comes out. To get the hot water requires one hand to press the button while the other hand presses the cup or mug into the back lever. That's for safety. When you pull the cup away, the water stops without any drips. And it gives you plenty of room underneath the spouts for long or deepmugs. Overall, this is an excellent water dispenser.

This thing is awesome. I use it with 5 gallon containers. The cold is quite cold and the hot is much hotter than my old water dispenser. The water comes out very fast, especially while the jug is full. It is also very quiet. I would have given 5 stars, but it lacks some minor features, namely: no storage in the bottom; no indicator lights showing its power/hot/cold status; most cups and glasses won't fit on the tray without being held there because the tray is too small.

Very well made. I like the fact of the stainless containers.It works well. The hot is HOT. However the cold is not as cold as my old plastic dispenser from Poland Spring. I like things cold and so now I'm putting ice cubes in my glass of water to meet my preference of cold.Not Happy.

We purchase this unit several months ago--We mainly bought it because of the stainless steel tank--supposedly healthier--but for the first two bottles there was a distinct metallic taste to the water--now not so much, but I am concerned that there is some discharge of metal into the water. Not sure we would purchase this again--but it does work fine.

This is a really good product for what it is--light, no frills water dispenser with heater and cooler.There's no assembly required; pop in the little splash tray and plug it in, put your 3 or 5 gallon jug on top of it. The water comes out real fast (as big as the nozzle opening allows) which is great. I've had another cooler that was incredibly slow because the water had to weave through the cooler to get to just the right temperature that could adjust.That said, expect the water to splash out a little because of how quickly it comes out, but it's not a big deal.Also, you can't adjust the temperature. You get it cold, or you get it hot. The end.The hot water dispenser, now, does take a moment to actually give you the hot water, so you'll probably need to toss out the first cup or whatever, but it's not a big deal. Also, there IS a child safety lock on it, and the directions for actually getting the dispenser to work are printed right there on the machine (which you may or may not like). Frankly, I don't care about the hot water, but I'm giving you the information.And it's cold. And it's hot. If you have sensitive teeth, you're going to feel it. But the machinery inside is very quiet; I've not heard it running at all, so that's another plus.All in all, it's pretty great, and I'm very satisfied with it. Finally, for moving it around, it's VERY light, but there are no handles to assist you. And it also comes with a little strap for you to attach it to a wall, and while the instructions say it's NECESSARY, I've got my 5 gallon jug on it and it doesn't wobble or buckle at all. It's very sturdy!

I agonized for weeks over which water cooler to purchase. Our original cooler lasted 10 years and we loved it, but it is no longer made. The second one we got was a known brand and was a total disappointment. When it sprung a leak we knew we had to get another one. The water in Florida is awful, and having clean drinking water that has no taste is a must for us. I read all the reviews of different brands and nothing was promising.Somehow , I came across the Clover cooler. It was more expensive than most others, but the few reviews were good.It shipped quickly, was ready to go right out of the box, and so simple to set up. I am ecstatic to report that it is just about perfect! In less than an hour, the cold water was really cold, and the hot water was almost boiling. It doesn't make any noise, which seemed to be a problem with many other brands. There is no "break in" period where you have to run a couple of bottles of water through to get rid of any chemical or metalic taste.We ABSOLUTELY LOVE this machine! Thank you Clover for a great product!

Nice to not spill water every time you change out the bottle... miss the mini refrigerator on the bottom like with our previous one, though...
