Very useful towel
I like this towel a lot it's very absorbent and you just wring it out when it's wet and then keep drying. I use it at the gym several times a week after swimmmg and showering. It stores in its own container and doesn't take up much space in my gym bag or get other things wet. It also saves washing towels all the time. It's too small to wrap around me when getting out of the shower but that's okay since most of the guys don't wear a towel going to and from the shower anyway. I've been using it for about eight months and it's getting pretty worn. When I leave it stored wet it really really stinks the next time I go to use it so I take it out of its container when I get home to let it dry. Once dry it goes hard. I then fold it to put it back into my gym bag and it has now started to crack on the fold lines. The next one I get I will avoid folding when dry and I'm sure it will last much longer. Since it is hard when I go to use it again I simply wet it down in the shower wring it out before using. If I notice that it smells bad I wash it out with soap in the shower before drying off.

Great!
Unlike many other people, I actually use this towel for competitive swimming. Although it would work really well for camping trips, I find it incredibly useful for swim meets. At swim meets, I usually bring 2-3 towels to use as they get wet and won't dry for about a day. With this towel, I use it, squeeze it out, and it's perfectly dry again! It saves so much room in my bag and saves the hassle of having to put up 3 towels to dry. The material seems durable and this may just last forever! Get this towel!

Awesome!
Love it! These are awesome for drying off. I think the negative reviews are because people don't know how to use them. They are supposed to be wet in the plastic packaging they are delivered in. Before they dry, don't put them back in the container or they get moldy. Also, don't force it into a shape when its stiff or it might crack. It's not a regular cotton towel. It is small but mighty. Not made from the same material you wash your car or dishes with. I love mine and for divers and swim team they are essential. My last one is 30yrs old and still works well. They do get stained if you leave them on the wrong surface but that doesn't change it's usefulness. Love mine!

This really works!
We took these on a 6 week car camping trip because regular sized towels take up too much room in the car. Someone had recommended these and they seemed very practical for our needs. They actually work! They soak up tons of water and then you just wring them out and soak up some more. My only complaint is the feel of them. It's not very cozy. More like soft rubber. But they do exactly what they promise to do, take up almost no space and are very reasonably priced. They are perfect for camping, backpacking or anytime you have very limited space.

Not what I had in mind
I've been looking for a super-absorbent small towel to hang from my mountain biking back-pack to wipe sweat during rides. I took the product out of the container, hooked it to my bag and forgot about it. At the end of the day when I grabbed my bag I noticed the 'towel' was rigid like cardboard after having been exposed to air for a few hours. If I submerge it in water it softens back up again but why would I want to pre-wet my towel before each ride? I can't stress HOW rigid this thing was, we're talking like card-board. Soaked it that night and was hoping it just needed to be broken in, laid it over a chair, next morning, card-board city again.Who wants to wipe their brow with card-board in the hopes that you perspire enough to maybe make this thing soft again? Back to the drawing board in search of my perfect sweat towel...

This thing is great. Perfect size for the gym bag and don't ...
This thing is great. Perfect size for the gym bag and don't have to worry about a towel going sour after I forget to take it out anymore. I use it for gym shower mainly but have also taken it in a pack for hiking. It really works, and you can't beat it for the price/weight/size/effectiveness. Wish it slid a little better on skin. You kind of have to pat yourself dry. It won't get your hair as dry as a towel, and if you have long hair it may tangle it up. Still, if you want to save weight and space, this is the way to go. If you go to work after the gym, don't take a wet towel. Wring this out and just throw it back in your bag.
