This powder makes a good cheesy sauce.
This stuff is great for making a cheesy sauce or making your box mac and cheese even cheesier. It lasts a long time as not much is needed to use for an average size casserole.

I buy this sauce regularly. It is great tasting, versatile and handy. I highly recommend this item as I can find no other powdered cheese sauce as good.

Tastes like Kraft Blue Box sauce
I got this to have a quick cheese sauce for broccoli or cauliflower after trying 100% cheese powder which tends to clump into hard to dissolve lumps over time even with the desiccant packet in the container. If you like Kraft Mac and Cheese, you’ll like this. I don’t. It barely registers as cheese on my palate. It cooks up really easily and doesn’t clump even when left open for a few days (by accident!).I’m going to get some 100% cheddar powder to mix in and hope the Trio mix will stop the clumping and hope the cheese powder will add some more of the cheese flavor I was expecting.If this works, I might buy it again and do the same. If it doesn’t…more for you all!

Good if you know what you're getting
Don't expect kraft Mac and cheese powder.There's some sort of emulsifying agent that makes the finished dish what I would call "gummy" but still overall good. Flavor could be a little stronger.I would compare it to Stouffer's. Better for baked dishes. Could also make a nice supplement to shredded cheese.

It doesn't taste like food, you'll need to add something else to it to mask the bad taste.
I added this product to mashed potatoes, and I could not taste or smell any cheese. It did not even taste like food- honestly, it tasted kinda gross. Not orange or even yellow, like the picture on the bag- more like light tan. Yuk.
