This is the standard of Backflow test kits, accepted by every state I checked into. Not a scuff or scratch in sight anywhere. Received the kit and was field ready out of the box. You can spend more money, but you can't get a better gauge for the money.

another industry classic... if they can find a way to get you to spend more money - they will- the plastic case should've been heavier guage, and less like a fishing tackle box

I just went to use this product for the first time today, and it has a cracked manifold. It appears as though it has been frozen, frustrating! Trying to figure out customer service and warranty repair is painful! Buy new, skip the hassle.

Excellent test kit. At the discounted price offered on Amazon it was an excellent buy to add to one we were already using.It was shipped complete - seemed to have never been used - but in an open inner carton. As others have said the calibration date was a bit out (May, 10 2017) for a gauge bought December 19, 2017. Otherwise - I would have given it 5 stars. The case is a modified Plano 6134 tackle box - without the trays for lures and 2 pieces of egg-crate foam to cradle and protect the gauge.
