Fantastic machine for Sous Vide cooking
I wanted to try the carnivore diet so I asked a friend who is a great cook what the best way to cook meat in a healthy way was. His answer: "Sous Vide" . Fast forward almost 2 months and I cannot stop using this machine. The instructions were clearly written, controls are easy to use and the results, "awesome". Quality of machine is excellent. If it were possible I would give this 10 stars. Do not hesitate to buy this machine, it is well worth the money.

Better than the stick versions
I got an instant pot stick sous vide, from amazon, as a return. It broke in 60 days ... junk this is much better for the quality side.- I use for yougurt, cheese, rabbit, etc-80 degrees and awesome- Its a bit heavy but it holds a gallon milk jug and i make cottage cheese right in the jug- biggest complaint, the plus and minus are reversed ... who designed this a lefty or non european?-i laughed about the reviews ... its off by 1/10th of a degree ... what are you distilling alcohol or making trinitrotolulene? Thats a bit anal dont you think?- Cooked rabbit legs . it was the best ever, better than in a deep fat fryer, nothing special, just a vacuum bag, straight from the freezer, browned off in a newwave...so ... allow the +/- to be reversed and a drain / with hose might be nice changes, other than that, no complaints

Common problem?
I read the reviews prior to purchase, and some stated the unit would never reach the desired temperature. Flippantly i figured it was user error. Well I got mine today and it will not reach desired temperature. Set to 146 and it climbs to 145.9 as fast as my old bullet sous vide, but then just stays there. Left literally all day (8:30am to 6pm) and it never got there. It stubbornly sits just shy. Normally I’d just cook at that temp (it’s only ‘10th degree off), but you can start the timer until it reaches the temperature. Given I’m not the only buyer to experience this i’m going to return, but rather than get a replacement I’m going to get a completely different model.

Overall I would have given this Sous Vide 5 stars. but before I get to the con. let me talk about the prosThis is very well built and holds the heat much better than our prior sous vide. I love the wireless control. We have soft-boiled eggs in the morning, it's great to start the sous vide heating up when I get out of bed. The temp is ready when I get to the kitchen and put the eggs in. The extra jets provide great water circulation and allow for two water levels, so when I'm doing a large steak or multiple items, I can add extra water to increase the capacity. The unit is well insulated and once up to temp does not need a lot of electricity to maintain the set temp.The only Cons I really have are two. The lid is glass, which is nice to see your items; however, it collects condensation and quickly forms large water drops that make it impossible to see through. I would have been nice to have a double pain or maybe make the glass slope in one direction to allow the water to drain away.The second one is that the wireless will sometimes crash/freeze, forcing you to unplug the unit and plug it back in to reset. I solved this by putting a Zigbee smart appliance plug, and setting a timer to power off the sous vide every night, and then power it back on early in the morning.Like I said, a great unit with a few minor nits.

Best way to cook fish.
So simple, so easy. Best way to cook fish. Forget those clunky immersion wands, this contained system is fire-and-forget.Also wise to invest in one of those vacuum sealed food saver devices -- don't by reusable sous vide bags, as they're garbage and impossible to clean properly.

Excellent purchase.
Perfect steak every time. Never over cooks and you don’t have to worry about messing it up. Quiet, easy to use, and a time saver!I love my Sous Vide.

Seems to work, I hope.
Tried numerous times to connect to Wi-Fi but failed. I have an excellent router and have connected dozens of things without a problem. No biggy, I doubt I’d ever use that function. My main purchase was to pasteurize eggs at 135 degrees. The Vesta will not do 135 exactly. I have to set the temperature at 135.2, and it will bounce back and forth from 134.9 and 135.1. It never reads out at 135.0. Hopefully not an issue. Other than that, my initial experience has been good.

Maybe I got a lemon the first time
Update: I contacted the manufacturer and they promptly sent a replacement. So far, so good on the new one. Original once did not reach programmed temp. I have only used it 3 times, the first time worked fine, but we are on to plan B today for Easter dinner tenderloins. Based on other reviews, seems like a fatal product flaw. Very disappointing.
