Writing on Water

If you are a "seeker" and like Mooji or advaita but don't care for long dialogues but would rather have a short thought to ponder then this book will serve you well. If, on the other hand, you like to read and get involved in a thought with more explanation, this will not work for you. Anyone of these short Mooji bits can be the one that wipes your mind clean, but it is not a book to be read like any other. If that is what you are looking for I might recommend "Before I Am" or "Breath of the Absolute". These are dialogues where Mooji puts forth questions to other's questions and confusions in an effort to get them to see through the false. Although Mooji was a follower of Papaji, he is more reminiscent of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj. His words are powerful and as such more is not better, just more emphatic. Included in the book are many pieces of Mooji's art. If you Love Mooji, as I do, this book will continue to shake you from your mind. If you are not familiar with Mooji, get one of his other books mentioned in this review.

Writing on Water This is not a book. It is a jewel disguised as a book. When those who know the truth of our being, write, they seem to use less and less words. Those carefully chosen words are supersaturated with love. I have read the gems in this book a thousand times, and l will read them thousands of more times. This is a book I will keep at my bedside, because falling asleep with just one light-filled statement by Mooji, brings me ever deeper into that space beyond time and space where Mooji resides. My greatest wish is for everyone to read themselves to sleep with this book, with the hope that when they wake up in the morning, they are Awake to the truth of who they really are.

Go to your upper room sweep it with a broom Then when you begin to pray. Love will come to stay. The spirit deep within is the one writing and walking on water. In the statement I love you. I and you disappear when love appears. Awake and aware here like there self-giving love present everywhere. Thank you Holy One.

Beautiful and perfect in its paintings, Sri Mooji dispels illusion and points to Truth in a way that is incredibly expansive and wonderful. This book is a gem, Moojibaba is the mine. Thankful.

Such dynamic expressions of awakening just as the title suggests. In his books, the impact is greater than anything I have experienced. A true master - and a being who resolves the subtlest tricks of the ego with loving authority.

What can I say? Beloved Mooji is my Satguru. I have his (this) book by my bed side and read every day some of his 'sponateous utterances and insights' and know most by heart and 'my being dances like writing on water - spontaneous and untraceable' - now that 'the spell of conditioning is broken'...

Happy about the content of the book. But the package arrived ripped.

Mooji is bliss! This book, like his others , take you into the heart of experiencing your awareness as expansive fullness. I ended up hi lighting almost the whole thing.

Good Read

An epitome of wisdom "prêt à porter". I think Mooji is a true spiritual guide. This book contains great pearls of wisdom that will raise awareness.

I love this book, it is my favorite among the ones that I have found on the Truth, the words penetrate my heart with their power and even though my mind often doesn't understand the words, my heart does. The brushwork drawings are a beautiful addition and are interspersed throughout the book. I have never heard Truth been spoken before in such a unique and beautiful way, this book and Mooji touch my heart very deeply. This is my one go-to book that I use especially when I am utterly confused and need to be led gently back to my Self. I can't say enough about this book because words just don't suffice.
