OCUSOFT LID SCRUB OUST CLEANSER PADS - 30/CTN

I buy these OCUSOFT LID SCRUB OUST CLEANSER PADS - 30/CTN, every month. WHY I ORDERED THIS: - I was having very itchy, irritated eyes and my eyelashes were getting thinner and falling out. - It turned out that I had a disgusting Demodex Mite infestation on my face, hairline and eyelids! Eeeew! - My Dermatologist suggested I clean my eyelids and face with this stuff in the morning and again before bed. So that is why I 1st bought this particular product. THE GOOD STUFF ABOUT THIS: - This product works great for soothing, cleaning and reducing those miserable Demodex mites! - Antiseptic, Anti-inflammatory, Moisturizing, Anti-bacterial AND IT WORKS WELL! - My face and eyes feel so good after using a wipe over them. THE NOT SO GOOD STUFF ABOUT THIS: - A bit on the expensive side for just 30 wipes. CONCLUSION: - I really, really love this product and will keep using it as it truly works!

These work great! Tip from me (and my doctor).....cut each wipe in half, use one half one night and seal up the other half to use the next night. The wipes are big enough that half a wipe works just fine. And then do NOT rinse after use. They're far more effective if you don't rinse!

I like these wipes and the waffle helps clean better, but I didn’t realize they require you to rinse after use until I had an irritation problem.

I wear a sleep mask with earphones every night, so the icky eyelash mites leave traces on my upper lids. This is something I just recently learned about. Since I have been using OUST there is no more yellow residue on my lids. Great product. Why the heck did my ophthalmologist not tell me about such things? If you have tiny yellow flakes on your eyelids in the morning you might want to try this.

Pads work well to get rid of eye mites. It must be rinsed off but I think the non rinse typecwipes do not have a strong enough chemical to do the job

I actually used 2 today and they worked perfectly. Easy to open each little pouch. I used 1 for each eye. I brought a few gauze pads & a new bottle of water with & poured the water on the gauze to rinse. After washing & rinsing my eyes feel so much better. No more itching. Originally the urgent care said I had a stye. After a full week it didn’t get better. Actually got worse and the itching & swelling was driving me insane! Then I remembered many years ago I used this product and got relief so I decided to order it again & give it a try. Today is my first day of using it. We will see if the condition completely clears up or not. Right now I’m grateful for the itching to stop for 3-4 hours & then I repeat it.

I prefer other brands. These did ok job at cleansing but other lid scrubs seem to refresh the dry eyes better.

I was not thrilled when my eye doctor strongly recommended these eye wipes due to my severe allergy to dust mites and this redness I was having in my eyelids. They are pricey but in time I realized they are worth it. They are keeping the redness in my eyes under control and helping. Sign up for the 3 month supply and it’s a little cheaper and convenient.

Hate the thoughts of anything crawling on my eyes, I need to use these to stop my eyes getting irritated and sand like crusts over them, makes me feel lots better using these.

Die Ocusoft Oust Demodex Tücher sind weniger aggressiv als die Blephademodex Tücher vom Augenarzt.. Das kann ich sagen, nachdem ich beide probiert habe - die Ocusoft brennen weniger in den Augen und sind weniger austrocknend. Ich schneide jedes Tuch in 4 Teile, sodass ein Tütchen einen Tag lang hält. Gebracht hat das Teebaumölextrakt allerdings relativ wenig - kurz nach Gebrauch brennen die Augen zwar weniger, aber die Lidrandmilben ließen sich nach 10-tägigem Gebrauch davon nicht beeindrucken. Der Milbenbestand hat sich erst rapide reduziert, als ich die Lidränder abends mithilfe eines Wattestäbchens mit 1,5%iger Wasserstoffperoxidlösung betupft und zusätzlich 50 ppm Kolloidales Silber in die Augen geträufelt habe. Beides ist gut verträglich und brennt nicht. Die Ocusoft-Tücher nehme ich weiterhin zur Reinigung der Lidränder 4x täglich. Zusätzlich wasche ich morgens nach dem Aufstehen Gesicht und Augen mit Schwefelseife. Anfänglich hatte ich an jeder Wimper mehrere der Demodexmilben hängen und dazu tränende, brennende Augen. Nur zwei Tage nach Wasserstoffperoxid und Kolloidalem Silber waren diese Symptome weg und die Milben fanden sich vereinzelt nur noch an circa jeder vierten Wimper. Ich untersuche täglich die Wimpernwurzeln am Mikroskop und dokumentiere. Das Problem der Demodexmilben wurde erst vor wenigen Jahren erkannt und therapeutische Möglichkeiten sind relativ wenig untersucht. Teebaumöl gilt als das Non-Plus-Ultra der Milbenelimination. Ich halte Teebaumöl jedoch für weniger geeignet, da es in den Augen brennt und die Haut austrocknet. Die meisten Augenärzte behandeln bei brennenden, tränenden Augen auf Trockene Augen, ohne auf Milbenbefall zu untersuchen. Ich habe die Tierchen selbst entdeckt und den Augenarzt darauf aufmerksam gemacht, nachdem ich schon zweimal zuvor bei ihm war. Die zuerst verordneten Tränenersatztropfen wegen angeblich trockener Augen von Computer und Klimaanlage haben den Demodex-Befall quasi explodieren lassen. Das ist logisch, wenn man weiß, dass sich die Tierchen von dem Fett ernähren, das in den Augentropfen enthalten ist. Es darf kein Fett in Form von Augentropfen oder Creme an die Augen, wenn man Demodex los werden möchte. Die Ocusoft Tücher oder auch Blephademodex Tücher zusammen mit Schwefelseife sind zum reinigen und austrocknen gut. Aber den Milben direkt an den Kragen ist das Wasserstoffperoxid und das Silberwasser gegangen. Ich hoffe Ihnen mit meinem Selbstversuch weiter geholfen zu haben
