I just got into soldering for a raspberry pi and this kit is perfect. I was able to use the solder and gun to combine a number of wires and use the voltimeter to check live circuits. Honestly, not sure about all the words I just used, but this is definitely worth the 20 bucks.

Very handy to have around the house if you is someone that loves to fix electronics

This is a nice package for beginners and some others too. Everything works well just for two little things;1) the soldering iron is very flimsy and could have been made a bit sturdy (considering the cost, it's still worth it). Don't forget to turn it off when not in use, as it will burn out. It can't withstand long periods of use.2) the multimeter is basic so don't expect much. But don't let that fool you, it works just as well as those more expensive ones. Accuracy with the current reader was a bit off but otherwise I like it.It is portable, all in one, must have, even great as a emergency travel kit; For those techs.Otherwise it's worth the money.

I use most things from this kit when working as an electrotechnical specialist. Till now so good, it has withstood considerable heavy duty use.

I needed a soldering iron and received much more. I was working on a trail camera and the variable iron temp. was a added bonus because the printed circuit boards are not of the highest quality. I also used the "solder sucker" which I thought I didn't need but I did!. I also cranked up the temp. to solder an extension cord. With a multi-meter included that worked great it's a GREAT DEAL.

I bought through this in terms of using everything in the whole package. The thing is nice, it's got what you can all need to solder and check up on your electronic devices. The case is nice, a nice leather faux case, very durable.Those some of the tools feel a little cheap...I mean for the cost you would be expecting it. Aside from the side tools, the soldering iron you are gonna want some new soldering bits after a few projects, though just in between my first project the flat soldering bit isn't taking too well to heat as the tip doesn't heat well and now the soldering iron is making a weird noise...Aside from that it's kinda decent at what you are paying for and don't be rough with the tools, the soldering holder is also nice and pretty sturdy, I mean it's not just a thin piece of metal. This is more worth your buck.

For money you cannot beat this kit! It really has pretty much everything you need to complete all your DIY soldering tasks. But I would also recommend that you get some "soldering heat sinks", as that is the only thing that I feel is always needed, and is not included in this kit... have fun!!

Packaging overall was not so great but product conditions was good. The package had this strong smell that was soaked on to the manual, which came all sticky and wet. Also the Soldering wire housing was broken but the wire was perfectly fine. I would of given the five stars because product was fine, but the fact that it came with that horrible smell and i had to wash the travel case made this seller lose one star.
