EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
BUCKLE UPCuz this review is also a tutorialOver all it's a great product, easy to use, light weight, easily adheres to the wall.THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOWDo not spray paint it, just don't do it. Use normal brush on latex paint, preferably the same stuff already in use in your house so it matches. It's going to get air bubbles in the paint if you're not careful so make sure you get into the cracks and it's nice and smooth. Take your time! Do two coats. I put mine out in the garage on a drop cloth and let it dry over night. Let the paint dry between coats and save yourself pain.INSTALLINGMeasure out your spaces appropriately and cut using a nice sharp box knife or the like. I'm a seamstress so I have those terrifying finger snipper shears and that works. Odds are it's not gonna be flush so if you're using calking, put it in the crack between the door or corner and the trim. I used a trim and moulding calking, worked perfect. I also chose to put a bit on the top of each strip and smooth it down to remove a garish seam between the wall and the trim. Paint over the calking if need be.If you choose to smooth it like I did, put a line of the calking on the top and then use a damp rag to smooth it down into the seam. Do this where you cut wrong too, works great in corners too! No one will tell you messed up.Make sure you follow the safety instructions on everything you use.I'm not a professional, this is literally my first time doing this. So I'm sharing my experience so maybe other first timers can have an easier time than I did.Good luck!

Exactly what I wanted
I used this for crown molding in my living room. Painted with semi gloss paint (3 coats since I used a dark color) and attached with liquid nails and little wire nails. It’s fairly heavy so I needed a second person to help me install it.

I returned it
I'd hoped to glue this to my bathroom mirrors, but it's very heavy. I sent it back.

not self sticking. better than expected product. highly recommend
I painted it with a spray paint first. I nailed it to the top of my tub surround by the ceiling and it looks great.its like a puddy, very heavy and strong but flexible which is what i needed to fit the curves. I suppose you could tile glue it of something but i nailed it.

Returned
Was going to add to mirror for trim but in this situation you can tell it’s plastic. Probably good for ceiling or at a distance

Great architectural addition
I’ve purchased several of these in different patterns, this particular pattern will be used to frame a newly installed window in my kitchen.
