Good and easy to use

Looking at some of the reviews I guess I must be one of the lucky ones. I'm currently at 30+ balloons and the canister is still going strong. I'm getting the balloons as close as possible to the recommended size (9 inches diameter) and haven't come across any issues. There's a handy cutout balloon size guide on the box and it's super easy to use. Very happy and will buy again for next year.

I have to admit, I was a bit nervous to use this because I had never used helium before, but I was surprised by its ease of use. I have since purchase four more canisters and held a couple of parties. I have only accidentally burst one balloon. It’s a bit pricey, but the kids love balloons and they really do make the party space easier to decorate.

We'd used a cheaper, small canister a couple of years back and were disappointed, so didn't have high hopes, but we learned a trick and this canister filled all we needed and more. Foil ballons have a valve feature and it's very easy to waste gas while filling, the trick is to use a straw (one set of the ballons we'd bought had one in, but a normal drinking straw works too). insert the straw into the valve (sometimes it neds to go in a long way) until it is possible to gently blow a bit of air into the balloon easily. Then and only then put the end of the straw over the tip of the canister nozzle and fill it, pressing the straw firmly onto the nozzle to make a seal (this was easier with two people). When full, release the nozzle to stop the gas and quickly withdraw the straw to stop the ballon deflating. Doing this, we filled 8 x large champagne bottle/glass ballons, 3ft high 8 and 0 ballons and about 15 16" foil and 12" latex ballons (latex just filled straight off the nozzle, obvioulsy) with this cylinder alone. All stayed up perfectly until the next morning (and would have much longer). This was way better than the cheaper canister we'd used previoulsy and I think worth the extra over the small size (seemed to do almost twice as many ballons for ~25% extra price).

What's the point of a helium canister if the balloons it fills have the buoyancy of a brick? Bought this for my daughter's birthday party, expecting balloons that would at least stay airborne long enough for the cake to be cut. Instead, watched £15 worth of latex slowly descend to the carpet like deflated dreams. The canister itself works fine - plenty of gas inside, easy enough to use. But the helium quality is clearly substandard. Filled the balloons properly, tied them securely, and within forty minutes they were all grazing the floor like sad, colourful sheep. The foil ones lasted slightly longer but still gave up the ghost well before the party ended. Children kept asking why all the balloons were 'sleeping' on the ground. Tried explaining helium physics to a room full of six-year-olds - not my finest parenting moment. Ended up having to run to the local party shop for proper balloons filled with decent helium. Save yourself the disappointment and spend the extra few quid elsewhere. This product promises floating balloons but delivers expensive floor decorations.

Excellent for blowing up all my party balloons .. made excellent party decorations .. helium content good .. was easy to inflate my balloons .. was heavy to carry but very versatile in its uses .. a good size to carry about

Sorry it does not fill as many balloons as it says so a bit disappointed as my grandsons birthday we were short of balloons not very happy you need 2 of them to do the job for a birthday party .
