Top 10 best computer add-on goodie!
My first cordless mouse was a Logitech, then switched to the various wireless MS meeses, and then settled in on the latest greatest. The VX Revo' from Logitech is awe-some-ful.All the other people having any a problem with it could have solved 99 percent of them by using a different USB port. It runs great on Vista and XP. Had issues with IE7 and scrolling slowly, that's it. Runs from anywhere in a room, even on a couch. MS mouse varieties had trouble getting away from the table. The person that said it only runs on a white table must have been looking at my MS mice. I still use my MS mice, and they run fine. A Volkswagen will get you somewhere too.The VX is the only mouse I know of that gives programmable buttons for play/pause, multi-volume controls, zooming, next/back/forward/previous, controls for movies and music, and starting various programs that you may use the most. The scroll wheel is the bomb. One flick and you can fly to the bottom of a hundred pages, or flip it over and switch to ratchet scroll. The USB chip hides in the body of the mouse when not in use. The software will notify you when batteries are at a critical level, and one AA battery goes fooreeeveer. The laser pickup beats MS mice hands down. I put it on a glass table top and it tracked perfect. I just now put it down on the carpet and it ran perfect. Haven't tried Jello.Great gaming mouse also, and again far lighter and trackable than my MS tank meeses. If your computer is running clean and free of trouble I would guarantee this little guy to work better than almost any other computer peripheral you've owned. I own three of these mice, and run them on XP and Vista from everywhere and performs. It is in my top ten of items I recommend and have owned on computer.

Solid Laptop Mouse
I originally bought one in mid 2007 at a local Office Max, not checking its price beforehand, for $80.Even for that price, this is a great mouse, possibly the best laptop mouse out there right now.Especially for people with small hands, it's light weight and small size make it ultra-portable for on the go users.I don't really use the zoom and search features, but one key deciding factor when I bought the first mouse was the side buttons for easy web-surfing - I love the back and forward browser buttons - perfect for lazy surfers like me who hate having to scroll all the way to the upper left of the screen to go back or forward a page! And one really cool feature is that there is a slot at the bottom end of the mouse to store the USB dongle/receiver - inserting it automatically turns the mouse off to save battery usage - sweet! And I stated the price in the beginning as a comparison to how much it costs now - about $38 after a $15 rebate from Logitech - that's a steal! One minor gripe is even though its got a laser sensor and is advertised as being able to work on mirrored or reflective surfaces - not really true, doesn't work for me.Overall, its price, size, ergonomic and cool design, light weight, and portability make it one awesome mouse!

Logitech VX Revolution - Probably the best notebook mouse around.
As a firm supporter of Logitech mice after a couple of failed Microsoft ones, I would like to share some of the pros and cons about the Vx Revolution.I am currently using the Logitech MX610, LX5, V200 and V400.The size of the VX Revolution is smaller than a normal desktop mouse but a bit on the large side for a notebook mouse. However, the size and feel of the mouse allows hours of comfortable usage.Ever since i used my MX610, I have become a sucker for additional customizable buttons on the mouse and the VX Revolution has buttons that are similarly placed on the left hand side, activated by the thumb. The precision zoom button is a bit stiff but still functional and programmable. The new quick search button just infront of the scroll wheel is a neat feature is you use it often. Otherwise it is just another programmable button for anything you want. The tracking lazer is better than what i have had before. So no complaints there. The V400 had a terrible lazer. Although it was marketed as a new lazer system that tracks across all terrrain. I found that it was worse off than what my V200 or MX610 had. I sometimes use the mouse while lazing in hotel beds. The V400 could never do a decent job on linen. The new frictionless scroll wheel needs some getting used to. But i seem to manage with it. But if you don't like it, you can always revert back to the ratchet system. As with many other critics, the positioning of the switch between frictionless scrolling and ratchet scrolling is placed under the mouse. It would have been much better if it were placed on top of the mouse for fast access. So if you can put up with the slightly larger size, this single AA battery powered mouse is a great product. Only pity is that it does not come with a nice neoprene carry bag.Nonetheless...good job Logitech, you've probably got the best cordless notebook mouse around for now.

Handy mouse, but unreliable
The features and ergonomics of this mouse are good, but the hardware and performance are unreliable. Out of the box mine was defective. It didn't work unless it was within 2-3 inches of the USB micro-receiver.I returned it and received a replacement which worked perfectly. While it was working the mouse was very convenient, battery efficient and the small size of the USB micro-receiver very handy for use with my laptop. However after about a year of use, the second mouse is now suffering from the same problem. If this mouse was more reliable I would rate it at least four stars, but after having two suffer from the same problem and taking the price of this product into consideration, I cannot recommend this product.
