Ultimate Nat King Cole (SHM-CD)

This is a very good representation of Nat "King" Cole's career, but it is lacking some key tracks. One track which is missing, "Ramblin' Rose", was one of his biggest and final hit songs. The duet with Gregory Porter was good, but also including Natalie Cole's latter day duet with her father, "Unforgettable" would have made this CD a real winner.

This is a terrific disc that demonstrates song after song why Nat King Cole was and remains one of the greatest singers ever.

Ok. It’s not fair to rate this collection poorly, because the music is terrific. But why does Capitol keep releasing the same material on each compilation? Nothing really significant distinguishing makes this different than the countless other compilations Capitol has released.
