Very pleasantly surprised. I didn't expect much for $17, but it is a relatively low or deep sounding horn. Much better than the big boy one that came on the truck. That was embarrassing every time I'd accidently use it. It was so high pitch. Finally, my wife said, you have to change that horn. So gave this a try and we're both very happy.It's not going to blow your eardrums or anyone else's, but it's louder than factory and sounds masculine enough that I can use it with pride on a pickup.It does not come with instructions or any wiring, but I plugged the wires in from the old one and it worked flawlessly. Comes with mounting hardware though. Deciding its location under the hood took the most time.Great value!

Horn stopped working on my truck. A oem replacement was about the same price as this. This is much louder and people’s reactions are great. Took about 15 minutes to install. Finding a place to mount it was probably the hardest part just because modern vehicles are packed so tight under the hood.

My truck horn was louder. Positioned badly but still not loud at all :-(

Put it on my ford. They aren’t really louder than a regular horn but has a different sound.The reason it isn’t loud is the compressor has low psi. You hook it up to a good air compressor and it will make you jump its so loud.

Finding a mounting location is tough on a VW Beetle. But DANG it is LOUD!! Perfect change from the stock horn. I added an external relay to power the horn as I did not know the current capacity of the OEM wiring.
