Monster Jam, Official Mega Grave Digger All-Terrain Remote Control Monster Truck with Lights, 1:6 Scale, Kids Toys for Boys and Girls Ages 4-6+

Ordered the Grave Digger monster truck as a gift for a friend’s kid. Was SHOCKED when it showed up on my doorstep and the box took up my whole entryway. Thought maybe the box just had tons of padding in it but when I pulled it out, no padding at all and this thing is HUGE! Too big to wrap in wrapping paper so just put it back in the box and gave it to him like that. When he opened the box, his eyes got three times bigger. The big tires and colorful paint job is definitely a kid pleaser. Helped him get it out of the box and started looking for the battery to put in it. The truck is so huge but is very light so I thought there was no way it could have the battery already in it. Surprisingly, it did. While the controller requires small AAA batteries, the truck itself has the battery built in so we plugged the charge cable into the wall and started charging it. They cleverly ship it with a partial battery charge as it only took about 10 minutes to get it fully charged the first time. Then showed him what not to do by doing it; took the kid to the side street and we played with the truck in the road for a while. It was his first remote control car so took him a little bit of time to get used to the directionality but then he figured out that there is more more than just go fast and stop. The variable speed allowed him to start slowly learning how to turn different directions and not to oversteer. The next day, we took it to a park in Santa Barbara and played around for probably 20 minutes or so before the battery started slowing down. The large tires let it run over about anything and they are soft enough that even if it hits you at full speed, it just bounces off and keeps going; no damage to the truck or to you. Overall a great first remote control car that I’d recommend. We didn’t take it on sand but it did go over grass and obviously on the pavement very well. Only complaints are that the controller has a tiny little screw that requires a tiny little screw driver to get into (why not make it a snap cover like the ones that work so well on everyone’s television remote or at least use a screw head that is a common size) and then I also wish the charge cable was about a foot longer.

My son got this for Christmas and played hard with it. We did have to glue a piece back together but it had took a massive beating before then. He loves how fast it goes and how long the battery lasts. He streets it all over. He has had so much fun with this car. We would definitely buy again.

This thing is pretty bad A for the money. It made a wonderful birthday gift for my son. It is pretty fast on fresh charge. It holds its ground pretty dang good. The remote is simple and easy to control. The tires are foam and pretty durable but they can be wrecked by a dog or if an adult tried to stand on them or something. It can move over grass but loses a little traction when there. We have bombed steps with it, climbed those same steps, crawled rocks, and raced some of the big kids toys. It is a ton of fun. The frame is lightweight plastic and light enough for my son to handle it himself. The size is pretty significant. The drive system is really simple as is the suspension. Nothing crazy to break or need to repair with special tools. Very easy toy. Keep it away from the bitey dogs. I had a GSD bit one of the tires and I needed to glue it back up. But, its holding strong and my sons are having a blast.

I took my son to a monster truck show and he became obsessed with Grave Digger so I just bought this for his 7th birthday. He loves it! We spent a good amount of time outside playing with it today. They claim indoor and outdoor use but unless you have a huge house there's no way you can play with it in the house due to it being so massive. On our first use I realized right away that this thing does NOT go in the grass. Doesn't quite have enough weight to it so it gets no traction and it just sits on top of the grass and spins out. To me that was slightly disappointing for how much this thing costs, but it goes great on flat, rocky, semi rough terrain. The tires are so big that it rolls right over some pretty sizeable rocks. It's pretty quick too on flat surfaces. The tires are made of foam so I'm hoping they hold up. They dont look to have taken any damage after 1 day of use. The range on this thing is pretty good. We were playing with it in the alley outside of the house and from our driveway out to the main road is a good 30 yards and we had no problem with range issues. I'm sure it could have kept going out further with no problem. The controller is kinda cheaply made and chintzy, which again to me was slightly disappointing because of how much I paid for it but like I said I was pretty impressed with the range this thing gets. Takes about an hour to charge it up and I didn't officially time it but I'd say you get about 30-40 minutes of run time before it needs charged again. Overall I'd say I wish it was built a little more solid for what it costs but it's a good toy! I'd recommend telling your kids not to lean on it or put weight on it because it seems like it would easily break. I'd recommend this for any kid just getting into RC vehicles. I'm pretty happy with this purchase.

Bought mine October 14th 2019 and here it is, still performs perfect 👌🏽. I upgraded the battery to a 20v rechargeable battery, have about 6 batteries, now it lasts for days before needing a charge for just 1 battery, outstanding. Installed a buck converter in the charger base so when 20v battery is plugged in the output is exactly 9.650 volts 🤙🏽 all plug and play. Anyways, feels good having a piece of history, awesome truck. Added front and back fog lights for night driving. Gonna pass down to my kiddos when I know they will take care of it, not cheap... Enjoy

I am actually shocked at the quality and look of this thing. First, it is HUGE. Everyone who sees me driving it wants one, including my neighbor with his $400 RC car. Second, it is very cool looking: red headlights look awesome in the dark. My son is stoked to watch me drive this thing, and all the little kids want to drive it. People have commented that the body is disappointingly cheap - fine - but that lighweight plastic shell also maximizes battery life by minimizing weight (that and the styrofoam tires). I think it sends power to just one (rear) wheel so it's not an absolute workhorse, but it does get out of a lot of grass/dirt jams, unlike the off-the-shelf Walmart type RC cars. Also runs reasonably fast for the price. Battery life is great - mine runs a full 30 minutes. Really surprised (positively) at the value and quality here

Purchased two of the Spider-Man monster trucks for my son. The first one wouldn’t hold a charge. The trouble shooting steps are useless It tells you to remove the battery “ which requires a triangular tip screwdriver “ and charge it manually instead of through the charging cable. I verified power from the wall plug, to the charging chord, into the power cord for the RC car with a multimeter. I also had to buy a separate 6 ft extension USB cable because the charging cord in the bottom compartment is too short to connect to pretty much anything. The second one I purchased was broken inside of the box, but the shipping box wasn’t damaged. The axel was snapped and the wheel was disconnected. These things are very poorly made. Don’t waste your $ Shipping for these things takes like a week, and returns are a pain.

This child's RC Monster Truck is great, has the overall look of a big monster truck at the weight of a feather, slow and controllable for beginners, very very entertaining for the young ones, she loved her Christmas present very much

Nos encanto el carro, excelente tamaño mi hijo tiene 7 años y le gusto mucho, dudaba por algunos comentarios que decían que era frágil y las llantas mala calidad, pero a mí se me hizo súper bien, lo usamos en casa y en tierra y sigue en perfectas condiciones, tiene muy buena velocidad, es un carro muy ligero definitivamente muy buena compra y el precio más bajo que en tiendas 👏🏼👏🏼
