They work very well.

High end pens normally have high end replacement ink cartridges. These are the best refills short of the OEMs refills, and the are far more inexpensive.

After a lot of searching and some trepidation, I finally ordered these to refill my Shaeffer Intensity model rollerball pen, since it appears that Sheaffer doesn't produce the "slim" refills anymore. (They've been "out of stock" on the Shaeffer website forever and scarce as hen's teeth elsewhere online). Well, glad I did. I'll not bother buying refills for Shaeffer again. The refill fits perfectly, writes smoothly, and comes in a .7 mm tip, unlike the original slim refill that comes only in a "medium" that felt like a 1+mm. Won't bother with any other refill again.`

Schmidt. Once again delivering top quality. Gorgeous ink that just zips right across the page, however, these refills burn a bit too fast. Some worse than others. So 4 stars for a lack of consistency in the refills.

I took a chance on buying these for my Kyocera ceramic pen, and I found that they didn't quite fit, even though the length and diameter were correct -- the hole at the tip of the Kyocera allowed only about 1 mm of the refill tip to be exposed. But I was able to ream out the hole in the pen using a 7/64" drill bit, and now they fit fine, with about 4 mm of the refill tip exposed. These refills are much more widely available and are cheaper than the genuine Kyocera refills, so I feel that modifying my pen was the right choice. I also like the 0.6 mm ball diameter, which gives a darker line than the 0.5 mm ball that originally came with the Kyocera pen.

I ordered a high dollar pen and the original cart was junk. These things write real smooth and seem to last quite a while. I’ll keep buying.

These refills beat the pants off of Parker and other name brand refills. I made the switch based off of a recommendation from an artisan pen maker, and I love them!
