Kibbeh Spice Blend 2.0 oz - Zamouri Spices

This spice mix is so full of flavor and rich, with just the right amount of heat. I love the mix of savory and sweet spices.

I used this to make kibbeh nitah for my collards. It turned out great and it's also excellent on rice.

I used this spice to make Ethiopian wots since I didn’t have niter kibbeh (Ethiopian calcified butter) around. The spice is delicious, but as a replacement for niter kibbeh it doesn’t taste quite the same. The spice will add to any dish, I use it in dishes other than Ethiopian as well. It is an ok replacement for niter kibbeh, but niter kibbeh entirely upgrades the dish when it comes to Ethiopian cuisine.

I was skeptical when I first purchased this spice because the specific ingredients weren't listed. However, I use this spice for almost everything I cook with, in place of salt and pepper. The flavor of the fries are comparable to fast food, which makes my son ask for me to bake potatoes often. It's definitely worth buying.

This spice seems to go well with most meats and vegetables.
