These things are tough. My first experience with them was in high school wood shop many years ago. A kid that didn't like me took them, jumped on them, and then tried his hardest to snap the lenses by hand and couldn't. They popped out, bent a bit, and i pushed them right back into place with a little effort and they looked fine.I do a lot of wire wheel work (dremmel,angle grinder,etc) and these stop all those little metal fibers from hitting my eyes and dont scratch up either.

Went from one pair of these, to two (so I could have one in the wife's car), to three (spare) over the course of a few years. I've replaced a lost pair or two. They're cheap enough that I don't feel bad if I lose them, and the soft, mostly-rubber 'legs' on the frame are comfortable for all-day wear on long car trips or days outdoors. Fog resistance is pretty darn good under normal circumstances, which is while I will sometimes take them over other options that offer better protection--protection is great unless you can't dang well see.I've also used them on road trips, in Afghanistan, on the range, in the field. Not at all ballistic eyewear and don't treat them as such, even though I definitely have once or twice. Related: they're fairly scratch resistant. If you're not too worried about the shooting range/shrapnel or a power tool sending something flying at your face they're great.

My husband only buys these glasses, they last forever and he loves them.2 YEAR UPDATE…. These really do last forever. My husband is a heavy equipment operator at a steel yard, tons of equipment with different jobs, dust, dirt, debris flying around, these still look new, he wears them everyday. Comfortable, stylish and protective

My problem with safety sunglasses is the reflection that comes below the lower level of coverage (street glare gets in, for example). These glasses minimize that. They are polarized and protective, and they come with with a little neck strap. The temple pieces are pretty flimsy, but I can’t complain for the price. Poor man's Oakleys!!!

My husband who is SUPER picky about his sunglasses absolutely loves these! Most sunglasses put pressure behind his ears and give him a nasty headache but these offer more room behind the ears and don’t squeeze. He has had many pair and loves them each time!

His company prefers these glasses. Cheap and he likes them. We order multiple at a time, as needed. Better and/or comparable quality to more expensive options he has used. The price of these compared to a pair of $50 work glasses is pretty nice. If something happens to them, it’s no big deal to buy another pair.
