and feels like it will last for a while
This is my initial impression...The strap is very attractive, slightly brighter color than the picture, well made, smells real, and feels like it will last for a while. The packaging is great and they even include extra spring bars and a tool to swap straps.I only have one small gripe. The clasp seems to come undone very easily while I'm wearing the watch.I would definitely recommend this strap, I wish I could justify more alligator in my collection to by more!

Awesome Qiulity, Look & Workmanship
I looked at various alligator bands on all major sites. Most comparable bands were in the $80.00 to $120.00 range. I was not too sure about the clasp on this band based on overall price and reviews. I decided to go ahead and try this band and am I glad I did. This band is beautiful, well put together and looks fantastic. It will be a great replacement for any band. I replaced a silicon Citizen Eco Drive ban that I had already replaced once at a cost of $75.00. I called Citizen to replace the band again and the cost was going to be $110.00. Great style, look, workmanship - If I could I would give it 20 stars. The tool and (4) band end bars were a plus -plus... MMW

Not so great
I am very disappointed in this watch band. I have bought lower price point watch bands and have gotten better performance from those. The watch band is too thin and the loops on the band are made from plastic rather than leather, such a let down.Not recommended.

Great band!!
What a great looking watch band. I replaced the band on one of my Citizen Ecodrive atomic watches. Looks like a brand new watch. Wear it for a day and re-adjust the band length for a perfect fit. Better than the band that came with the watch.

Appearance matches picture in listing.
Good looking watch band. Deployment works well. The clasp for fastening the deployment to the holes in the strap does not fit tightly rather comes loose easily. That may or may not become an issue in long term. Easy to assemble.

Close to perfect
4.5. Overall, I am happy with the band and appreciated the tool which made self-replacement feasible. My only minor quibble is that the product is not quite as shiny as it is pictured. I understand that there are variations in natural products. The packaging and delivery were flawless.
