Cyber Acoustics CA-2014 Computer Speakers, Full Stereo Sound, Convenient Controls, Easy Setup

I bought these powered speakers for my Raspberry Pi 5 workstation I built for myself.The input is a 3.5mm male stereo cable. Power is from the included AC adapter. There is a physical power switch and volume knob on the face of the left speaker.Audio quality and volume were good for my purpose. I think they are rated at 3 or 4 watts per speaker, but I'm a little skeptical of that. Still, they are plenty loud enough for watching cat videos and such.I'll point out that the AC powered speakers such as these work better (for a given price point) than the USB powered ones in terms of good listening volume.I bought these for my own personal use and received no compensation for my review.

This is the second set I have purchased and I like the sound even if I'm tone def. I use them for computer sound affects more than anything. They also sound good for the music I play.

Old computer speakers died. Needed a quick plug & play replacement set with a standard 3.5mm plug. Two days in, and so far so good. I use two 27" monitors, and my old speaker set had a longer connecting cord, allowing for a speaker on each side. The connecting wire (between the two speakers) on THIS set could be longer, as it DOES NOT allow for the same setup as before (one speaker now sits behind a monitor as it doesn't reach the outside). Decent product for a fair price.

I bought these in Feb 2025, and as of Aug 2025 they are no longer working properly--the blue light is on, but no sound at all. For the past few days, it would work sporadically but now, I get nothing but the light.Pros: Very easy to set up, simple controls, good volume control and average quality sound, classic look, includes available 3.5mm port for headphones. I also appreciated that they use AC and do NOT have a USB plug-in, since I have a couple of AC outlets but not a USB port or charger available (though I know others may prefer USB, so that may be a "con" for some).Con: The biggest issue is that they stopped working after just under 6 months' use. There's also no way to turn off the very bright blue power indicator light--I covered it with a sticker to tone it down. Cord connecting the two speakers is a bit on the short side (3 ft if I had to guess) for a larger monitor, but should be fine for medium or small ones.For the price, 6 months of use may not be terrible, but I had hoped for more. (Still marginally better than the mono Bluetooth speaker I had before that I paid more for, but would only connect 70% of the time. That one lasted 5 months.)

Bought for my work and they are good and clear. You can leave your cell phone by them and you do not get that static noise like some speakers do.

I needed a cheap set of speakers for my work computer. I don't use these to play games or watch movies or anything like that, they are mainly for video calls and other tasks where voice is most important. I like that I can connect headphones to them if I'm working at odd hours and the wife is sleeping. They have clear sound and are perfect for my use. The power LED is very bright at night, but I just put a little tape over it and its not a bother.

I gave it a 4 star because I had to get a replacement,the wires on the first set of speakers that plugged into the pc were loose and every time I moved the pc or if the usb cable was moved it would mess up the sound. Well, with the replacements it seems to work fine maybe better than the first ones, but we will try them out for this week and see. For my son's gaming and my personal use. I did set them up this morning and they are really loud for what they are, just when you first plug them in make sure to test them out and try moving the usb cable a bit while testing them to make sure there are no loose wires or broken connections inside the cable itself..give them a try. If these replacements fail any time soon I will update this review.
