I've only used the dye and light in an automotive application with R-134a. I bought this kit to expand into R-1234.

I have a home r22 system can I use this?

The fitting on the injector is for the low side (suction) line on R134a equip vehicles and not really recommended for home use. However I'm sure you can find a dye injector for a R22 system.
