One of the mounting points was sticking out of the box with slight damage to paint, at first unable to install due to reflector bracket not fitting back on and after posting question on Amazon other z900rs owners who ordered rack said I needed to eliminate it and find different spot to mount reflectors, after all that the part was warped and it took a long time trying to line everything up (good thing I have a bench vice or else this would of been mission impossible). I finally got everything squared away and installed, very sturdy part no issues with that other than the damage and warped out of alignment. I would recommend to seller to install peace of all tread between mounting points to keep alignment during shipping and a peace of pipe insulation at the ends will stop part from going thru box and last mention that installation of this rack on a z900rs will require eliminating reflector bracket.

So took a chance buying this, as it only had 3 ratings, and 2 reviews. But figured I can always return it if it had issues. I was initially skeptical when I saw the reviews saying they had fitment issues, but I didn't run into these problems. I did have to use a long screwdriver to pry the side plate into place, but I think it was more of the fact that I was attempting to hold it up on my own while lining up the hole. It feels very heavy duty and sturdy. There was 3 little scuffs on the paint on the top, not sure of it came like that or I did that when I was putting it on. Overall happy with it so far, will update of anything changes once I ride with ot for a few weeks.

Fit well, easy enough. Seems strong and nicely built.
