Dr. Paul Rosch not only succeeded in fulfilling the task of assembling a community of profoundly able scientists but he clarifies early in his first and second edition prefaces the rationales for the divisions and the contents therein published. This book is best read by reading initially the First and Second Edition Prefaces, followed by the subsequent chapters reprinted unchanged from the First Edition. Thereafter read Chapter 48 by Dennis Stillings - “Creating the Bakken; A Library and Museum of Electricity in Life – A Mystical Memoir”. The very next choice I recommend is Chapter 50 by Editor Rosch: “Afterword: A Peek into the Future”. Choosing this sequence prepares readers to explore freely the content in the remaining chapters – a feast of science shared by scientists from around the world.Any textbook of this size is bound to contain a glitch of two or more. Yes there are a few typos but they are not disconcerting. I did find a minor error which was likely inadvertent. Gerald Pollack’s Chapter 11, “Why Biological Water Differs from H2O and Acts Like a Battery” references his expanded explanations set forth in his book “The Fourth Phase of Water”. The referenced citation on page 109 wrongly dates the publication as 2001. The copy in my library of his book was published in 2011.Readers familiar with the first edition will find reasons to challenge existing knowledge and to explore their interests in this second edition. New readers will discover a treasure trove about the known and the mysterious energies and forces of life in all biological systems. I purchased this item as a gift. It came with all 4 corners of the book (outside and inner pages) bent and damaged. For a $200 book, especially a $200 book that’s a gift, I expect that it arrive in pristine condition. Very disappointed.

This book has different sections. Few are superb such as the cardiology section of it and some are discussions , ideas without a real scientific double blind trials. However people who put these together all had good intentions for human healing.
