Love this stuff! I have very fine hair that gets split ends and tangles super easy. Since using this my hair has a whole lot less split ends and because I put it in my hair right after a shower it makes brushing my hair 100 times easier with less breakage. A little goes a long way so 1 bottle lasts me about 6-8 months. Mind you I have long hair so for me this is perfect. Only downfall is you will need to clean your hair brush a bit more often from the buildup of product. Otherwise it's a great item to add to your daily hair routine!

I was growing my haircut during the 2019-2021 CoViD pandemic and a friend of mine, who also used it, gave it to me as a gift to keep my hair ends healthy. I liked it enough to buy my mom a bottle. However, I later found out there are better values.Packaging and shipping was fine— it arrived sealed and undamaged. The product itself comes in a a cute looking 4-oz pump bottle. The serum is thick with a pleasant light scent of toasted coconut. It absorbs fairy well into hair or skin with just a bit of oiliness or greasiness after application. It effectively softens my hair and beard, also protecting the ends. It can also be used a bit like a leave in conditioner to tame minor fly-always or frizz. Overall it is an effective product but it’s not really coconut oil.In comparison to fractionated coconut oil, this product (1) is thicker, (2) oilier and (3) has a scent (4) and contains additives/ preservatives. In case you didn’t know, pure fractionated coconut oil is thin, light, unscented and has no oily feeling— it absorbs completely into your hair or skin. Also this product, unlike pure fractionated coconut oil, contains additives like DMDM Hydantoin. (Personally this doesn’t concern me, though I understand some people don’t like such preservatives.). This product is a bit more expensive than fractionated coconut oil. The one advantage of this “Coconut Milk” it that because it is thicker, is works better to manage frizz or otherwise tame your hair.Overall, I like the product and I’d recommend it, but I’d also recommend anyone buying/ using it also try some pure fractionated coconut oil. For most uses/ applications the coconut oil will be better.

First off, I have to say that I absolutely love how this smells. I use this right after I wash my hair, the scent it great, and keeps the frizz down. A little goes a long way, so be careful as you will be tempted to apply a lot but use just a tad. Makes your hair very shiny too.

I've been using the OGX Nourishing + Coconut Milk serum as a pre-poo treatment and it's been a game-changer for my 2a/2c hair! It leaves my locks feeling soft, moisturized, and manageable. However, I don't use it as a leave-in serum because it weighs my hair down and makes it greasy quickly. If you're looking for a similar product for finer hair, OGX has other options that might work better for you. Overall, I highly recommend this serum for thicker or curlier hair types - it's nourishing, moisturizing, and budget-friendly

The smell is delicious and the texture is a little dense, so it is better to apply it only on the tips.
