Appears to work with a satisfying ‘crack’ as it nukes flies, (though only works properly when in low light, or as the only source of light to attract pests). However I have only given three stars for two reasons:- 1. No brush supplied as appears in the accompanying photos, which give the false impression this would be the case. 2. Having the power cable connected to the top of the device seems to me to be both counter intuitive and not particularly safe for a lightweight high-voltage device, giving it a higher centre of gravity and therefore making it prone to toppling over. It also makes no sense should one wish to hang it from a high point, where the power source would most likely be beneath that point. It also looks ungainly and aesthetically unappealing. Back to the drawing board I think!

The actual product seemed alot bigger than I had expected which was a pleasant surprise. The colour scheme on it is bearable but of course being an electric fly swatter I'm more concerned with how it functions for the job it's meant for. In terms of the job it's marketed for it works really well. The zap of electricity when it does catch a fly did make me jump a little. But that is not the fault of the product. I have only ever used an electric fly swatter from other brands a few times and the gap in time between doing so then using this one is rather big. So that is just something I need to get used to again. But yes overall I am very impressed. It arrived when I was informed that it would. It arrived intact no damage whatsoever. It does what it's supposed to do which is perfect for me. Due to the warm weather of course alot more flies are about than normal. So I needed something to help me make sure that my house doesn't have too many. Do I think this product has met my needs?. Yes I do 100%. It ticks all the boxes. I am so glad i spent that little bit more to get a rechargeable one. So I don't have to worry about it going through batteries faster than a blink of an eye. So if you are asking yourself is this a good investment for me?. Then I say go for it don't hesitate. If you have flies to get rid of then this gets the job done.

I bought the Fraxinus FR14007 on the basis of the questions answered by Fraxinus on Amazon's site. Unfortunately, Amazon has mixed up many products in this section without making it obvious. Included in the answers from Fraxinus, apparently for my product, are references to a button and a 2-hour charge time. I had intended to use this zapper unplugged for short periods, however it does not appear to be able to operate without mains and has no button. I cannot comment on quality and will return it.

I never leave an instant review, I always wait at least a month, so its as honest as it can be.Brought to kill all the flies during the summer. Easy to set up. Basically plug in and go. It was placed on a high point ( fridge) and a lower point (around the bin). It was on day and night. It killed 0, ZERO, NIL, ZIP AND DIDDLY.And if that wasnt bad enough the flies even started mating right next to it.So in conclusion no this does not kill flies. But plus side it was a nice night light when walking into the kitchen.

1st indoor zapper blow after only using it for 8 weeks, item was replaced with no problems. I’ve had the 2nd unit running for 3 months, on Saturday we came back from food shopping we were sat in the front room having dinner when all of a sudden my fire alarm sounded, went to investigate and couldn’t see anything, my husband turned round in our front to sit back down and we could smell burning all of a sudden smoke was pouring out of the zapper, we unplugged the unit and as I was removing the plug my circuit protector cut the power to the electric zapper and I put it outside. If we hadn’t come home when we did I dread to think what could of happened, my property could of caught fire, am so glad we had this fly zapper on a circuit breaker and that my electric fire alarms went of.

Bigger than anticipated and wasn't rechargeable, the cable was also quite short. Not suitable due this and returned item

I had to send it back because I did not realise it came with a lead with it. I thought it battery control or USB powered. There was not enough info, when bought it.

Easy to order and arrived promptly. It wasa well packed and looked good. It was just a matter of switching it on and placing in an area with lots of flies. Unfortunately our flies just gave it a wide berth. They seem to find me much more attractive.
