This magnet is very light and easy to use.

Super handy, strong enough magnet that you can pick up several little things and not release them every time you pick up one screw. And when you go to release the material you pick up it falls off easily (I've used some before that you pretty much have to brush the metal off of it).Just wish it was longer so I didn't have to stoop! But not a deal-breaker!

Love these tools. I have one everywhere I generate iron shavings, chips, and small scraps. It makes picking up this scrap a real breeze and helps prevent soft sole shoes from carrying this stuff to the house and the carpets and rugs inside. Thanks

Good value

I had a pickup tool that just had the magnet on the end, and that was less than satisfying (especially when I had to pick off the rusty screws and nails). This is much better: sweep it over the area (very close to the ground), put it over your container, and pull the handle. Won't pick up large metal objects - a railroad spike is about the limit it will move and pick up (somewhat). Great for nails, screws, washers, any small ferrous object. Not very useful if you have to sweep a large area, and you have to almost touch the object to get it to stick - things will not fly out of the grass when you wave it around!

This is by far the magnetic pick-up tool we have tried. It works great in the shop as well as in the yard and driveway. It will pickup multiple items at a time and dropping them into a bucket is as easy as pulling the trigger.
