Women's Triple Strap Formal Dinner Tea Party 1950s Vintage Dress

I love this dress and you could dress it up or down. At first, I was skeptical of buying the dress due to I'm a plus size girl. I wear between a 16 - 18. I purchased the 2X and it fits exactly like I wanted.

Overall fit well, ordered what was considered a 2XL too be safe cause I'm a XL usually. Had to hem the straps and chest area smaller because it was too loose, and straps kept falling off my shoulders. Waist was perfect though, need to get a petticoat to make it more poofy

I got so many compliments on this dress. I wore a 3 tier petticoat underneath and a 3/4 length white shrug. I want every color!

Love this dress! I was a bit skeptical just because you never really know what you’ll get with online shopping. But this dress exceeded my expectations. Cut is beautiful. Fabric is sturdy. It doesn’t come all bunched up so I don’t need to get it pressed. I am 5’7”, 130lb, bust is 34 with my typical padded bra, waist 28 and hips are 37. Long enough for work. Would highly recommend! And will be keeping an eye out for new patterns to buy in the future.

I'm going to have to do a few little alterations, hence the 4 stars, but it fits surprisingly well. The straps are a little big and under the arms is strangely loose, but with a few stitches it will be perfect.For reference: I'm 12/14, 38DD and 5'10"

I bought this dress for my Halloween costume. I wanted to dress up as a girl from the 50s. This dress was perfect for my costume and I love it so much that I want to wear it all the time. I was worried that it might be too tight or make me look fat, but it actually hides my belly really well. The dress is also really comfortable as well. I also thought I was going to need a petticoat to put underneath it, but it is somewhat poofy without a skirt underneath. If you need more poof, then get a petticoat. My only complaint about this dress is that the sleeves fall down and the chest area is really big. I had to safety pin the straps in the back to tighten them. I wish this dress had adjustable straps to make this easier. This might only be a problem with my body type though since I have a really small chest. I wore a cardigan which helped to hide the big straps. Maybe for most this isn't an issue. I bought an XL size. For reference, I am 5'4" and 180 lbs. The XL fits great. (The cardigan in the photo is also from Amazon if you were wondering where I got it.)Overall this dress is perfect. I worked really well for my needs and I love it so much, I plan to wear it for any party or event I have to go to.

This dress is prefect !!! I'm a size 16/18 is usually a 2X but for this size chart it was a 3X which was the size 14 plus for the size to pick so I went for it and bam Perfection !!!😃💖💖💖 great summer dress for any party or just going out shopping!!!

This dress is sooo cute! I was a little worried it would be a tad tight because I was about half an inch bigger on all measurements, but I got it and it fits perfectly! I ordered a XXXXL and typically wear a XXL. It hits me right below the knees, the perfect length! It flares out just enough. Super cute! It smells a little funny just out of the packaging and is a little wrinkled, but I'm sure once I wash it it'll be good. Definitely recommend this dress, In fact, my Mom is considering ordering the blue one.

A very pretty dress but -as with so many Chinese clothes- it’s on the short side. Cheaper to produce that way probably, but due to a shortfall of just two-or-so vital inches this can’t really be considered a typically 1950’s style dress. At 5’5” I’m hardly leggy, so it would appear shorter still on taller girls! I’m wondering if I can add on a frilled edge or something to increase the length. It doesn’t look quite like a full-circle skirt either so I don’t (yet) know if it will be able to accommodate a rockabilly petticoat .Also buyers should know that this is a pull-on dress. No zip - but has a shirring elasticated panel at the back. Shirring isn’t to everyone’s taste but does create a quite flattering fit when viewed from the front. It was a bit tight to get over my head and shoulders though so in the end I stepped into it and pulled it on that way-and thankfully it did manage to squeeze over my hips.

The material feels cheep but after washing and wearing will be more comfy. It’s not itchy at all. It fits perfectly and looks cute. It’s very slimming too.

I did what others said and went by my waist size 38 inches making it 3xl which was 18/20 size thinking it maybe Asian sizing but it was too big all over so i went for the Xl which was 33.46 waist a UK size 12 Plus on their chart and it is a perfect fit. I usually take a UK 14 or 16 depending on the bust area and this was perfect for my 36f. I also ordered prime so not sure if it came direct from China or was UK made.

Lovely dress to be worn to a vintage 50/60s event. I’m a good size 16 and ordered 14-16 and it fits perfectly.

I usually wear size 12. Bought a 10-12 from here and it was very good fit!
