ANTRobut 2 Pack 18V 5000mAh Lithium Battery

We have both a battery operated leaf blower and weed eater that my wife loved to use because they were light weight and easy, but she has been unable to because the old batteries were useless. These new batteries are so much better than we expected - they hold their charge beautifully and provide more power than the previous batteries did. We've only had them for a few months so we aren't able to rate on longevity, but to date we are quite pleased with them.

I purchased the 18 Volt, ANTRobut 2 Pack Upgraded 5000mAh HPB18-OPE Lithium, batteries.They worked very well, strong charge, lasted well doing weed wacking and yard blower use.There was an issue on charging the batteries. ANTRobut was helpful & interactive to trouble shoot the issue, they ended up replacing the batteries, promptly!. Thank you

So far performance is very good and they recharge fully in 2 hours. I do recommend this product.

I have had the ANTRobut 2 Pack Upgraded 5000mAh HPB18-OPE Lithium and NiCad Replacement for Black and Decker for about 2 months now. I have used it on my BnD weed whacker, power saw, blower and drill driver. WOW what power! Sometimes I think the battery is too powerful for my tools. Lasts at least twice as long as my old NiCad batteries per charge. I do not know about their overall life span, only time will tell, but I am very impressed with this battery.

After changing the 18V NiCd1.5Ah old battery with the 18V lithium ion 5Ah battery, we could use our Black & Decker trimmer for two hours with one battery. We were so happy. Then I got problem to recharge the lithium ion battery with my old NiCd charger. Based on the comments, the battery could be re-charged with NiCd battery charger. So I thought something wrong of the battery. I returned the battery and bought another one from other manufacturer. I had the same problem to re-charge the battery with my old charger. From the website I could not find a charger for 18 V lithium ion battery for Black & Decker tools. So I bough a new Black & Decker NiCd charger BDFC240 . I still could not charge the battery. Back to the website then I found ANTRobut 5Ah lithium ion battery specified that NiCd battery charger could be used to charge the battery. I wrote to the manufacturer to ensure that it could work before purchasing. I was so happy to find out that finally I found a lithium ion battery from ANTRobut can be re-charged with NiCd battery charger. Also the response from customer service was fast and helpful.

These are awesome. Replaced the original NiCads and lasted forever! Well lasted longer than I had energy to continue.

These batteries exceeded my expectations for battery life while being used and holding a charge when not being used! They last 2-3x longer than the original Black & Decker batteries and are priced better. They fit my trimmer and fast battery charger as described. I don't even bother using my original batteries anymore. Thank you very much ANTrobut!!

[Update: May 2022. Second battery has now failed. While unavailable, STEER CLEAR of this vendor. The rest of their offerings are likely just as poor]Purchased a 2-pack of these in August 2020. One battery works fine. But before the one year warranty is up, one of the batteries is reported as defective by the charger. The symptoms are similar to what others describe for a defective controller chip in the battery: Initially, LEDs all flicker and light up, and then the battery oscillates between "charging" and momentarily "Charged", but never actually charges. Soon after, the charger reports it as defective.Contacting the seller was problematic. The seller did not respond to the email address on the storefront as promised: [email protected], but finally did at Amazon Seller messaging, A partial refund was offered in lieu of a warranty replacement (attributed to stock issues with single units) that I had to negotiate up to the 50% price of the one battery. Eventually came around, but not the best service experience. And the hit or miss quality on the batteries has me question their durability. Caveat emptor
