These bulbs were just the ticket for replacing regular halogen bulbs that burn out in no time. Love the light they provide and use it over a large piece of art with amazing results and color reproduction. Highly recommend these LED bulbs!

No, these aren't cheap, but they seem to work well. Replaced some 20W halogens that kept burning out and were up in trees and a devil to replace, these are a little dimmer but have the same color temperature and so far (cross fingers) they are not burning out. Some other brands of LEDS do not tolerate voltage swings - these seem to be quite robust and tolerate different voltages, my system has different transformers and has blown out some other brands of LED lights (your mileage may vary). I also bought some separately for use in a lab setting at work, they take both AC and DC voltages well and the light is stable without flicker.

This is a no brainer, buy it! I bought it to replace the 20w in my indoor tracking lights. My calculations show me that the initial investment in these LED 4.5 watt bulbs will pay back in 9 months and after that the savings will continue.Let me explain why I am investing in LED's: About 6 years back I got tired of changing every three months the 50w halogen ceiling lamps in my kitchen. Then I came across LED's, they were expensive and I took a chance and replaced all 8 50w halogen ceiling lamps in my kitchen with 8w LED ceiling indoor bulbs. Now just think how much you will save by replacing 400w (8 X 50w halogen) with the LED (8 x 8w LED), that is a lot of saving. Here is the best part - Its been a little over 6 years since I replaced all the 8 halogens and I have not replaced a single one since! Yes they do last a long long time.

I am using this bulb as a spot light on a picture. It is hard to find at 210 lumens, warm white light, and a small beam angle. I took off one star because, IMO, it is overpriced.

Needed this for our Christmas tree base-works great.

Ordered 3 to use in Malibu lights outdoors. yes it says for indoor use, but I cannot find a LED for Malibu lights. I'm sur ethey are out there, just have not come across them. 2 worked for a few weeks. One of the ones that did not work was flashing on an off. I worked on them several times with no success. 1 light is still working, but wen tbac to halogens for the time being. I would not recommend this product.

Excellent choice to convert from halogen to LED.

l bought two of these to replace two halogens in an elevator. The bulbs had the same specs as the halogens. Neither bulb worked at all so I returned the products to Amazon for a refund. I wish they had worked for me. I ended up buying two more halogens.
