Do the job but may need yearly replacement when weightlifting.
After several hand surgeries due to Dupuytren's contracture my Orthopedist suggested I use padding on my hands so not as to aggravate the excess sheathing growing in my hands (due to the Dupuytren's). Lo and behold since I started using these on top of (glued to rubber pads that have a strap to keep them in place) I have not had another Dupuytren's breakout. I used to wear padded gym gloves but found them too restrictive. These pads provide more thickness to the attachable pads. It seems like I have to change them every year or so due to wear and tear but they are used for 45-60 minutes 3 times per week when lifting weights. Small price to pay since the problem with Dupuytren's contracture is that it can return and the doc thought that the pads may hold it at bay, which it has. One can use these alone but I find the attachable ones to be better as they can stay fastened to the hands. Work really well when superglued- comfortable and provide a good grip, no pain in the hand at all.

Excellent for pull-ups
There's not much to say about these. You get 4. They're great for making pull-ups non-slip. I do my pull-ups after running and my hands are always sweaty. I have no issues when I use these pads.

Not better than the Original Grips by Grip
They can replace gloves easily but may cause a worsened grip. These are thin pads that lack grip on the palm face. They feel cheap and easy to thrash. I would not re-purchase the product. Alternatively the more expensive Grip brand Originals are my choice for myself and anyone trying to stop wearing gloves.
