One problem with fruit slices is that they quickly go stale. The beauty of these fruit slices is that they are each individually wrapped and DON'T go stale. My only complaint is that they are only made in one flavor -- orange. I would like to see them in lime, lemon and whatever the flavor is that is red. So, while I enjoyed them greatly I am a bit disappointed they are only available in one flavor.

This candy taste HORRIBLE, almost like it was laced with pledge furniture polish. Product was quickly just thrown out. Each candy piece was individually wrapped, however, they all tasted about the same. NOT like your childhood favorite rainbow slice sugar candy. Product came quickly, and package closed and safe, so not seller's fault.

Flavor was good, but they were all melted when they arrived. The sugar coating turned into syrup.

As others have mentioned, these are very soft and jelly-like. It DOES say "Jelly" in the description!I used to love getting the thin, expensive box of fruit slices when my parents were willing to buy them! The firm texture of the "rind" was one of my favorite parts. I thought I would get this bag and enjoy them slowly since they are individually wrapped and could stay fresh much longer than an open box of candy.When I received these they were very warm and looked like many of the photos in other reviews with liquidy colored sugar inside the wrapper. I do live in Florida and they were delivered a couple hours before I brought them in. I put them in a cool spot overnight to see if they firmed up. The pieces did get a little less wiggly but the damage was already done and the sticky mess was inside the wrappers so every single one that I opened got sticky residue on my fingers and when I tried to eat them in two or three bites my lips, face or beard got the sticky treatment too. These had less flavor than I remember the others having too. It was like a hint of the flavor you would expect with a large hit of just sweetness. Maybe it has to do with us using corn syrup for everything to reduce the cost of manufacturing instead of real sugar like it used to be.These are like the much softer, less flavorful, long-lost cousins of the candy that I was hoping to get. I still made it through them waaay too fast because I love sweets but, if you are after those old-fashioned, amusement-park memory box, sugared, dryish, firm, toothsome pieces of fruit flavored goodness from yesteryear you will be disappointed but probably still get through them as I did because... SUGAR!

Anyone who knows me in real life understands I have a deep and abiding affection for the color orange. When I was looking for some special Christmas treats, I saw these on Amazon, and it brought to mind the Christmas's I enjoyed in rural Pennsylvania in the 1960's. Citrus fruit and nuts were not regularly available in our little town grocery store, but at Christmas, the shopkeeper would order in oranges from Florida. What a treat to have a real orange in my Christmas stocking!On impulse, I bought a few bags of these to leave around for my friends -- what a hit they were. Really great orange flavor, and coated with enough sugar to give you both the tart of the orange and the sweet follow-up.Although I now live in the era of fresh fruits from all over available all the time, I think I will keep these as a repeat item on my Amazon cart from henceforth

I've ordered these candies for few time now. The last order was such bad quality I'll have to throw them away since the vendor doesn't allow for refunds. The candies are stuck together, completely melted and gross. They were packaged in a box with something else that I ordered which was bigger in size and probably assisted in destroying the candy. Either way, packaging should be better and maybe an icepack can be included with the candy orders. I ordered these during the summer and they didn't come as melted as they did today.Freshness - 0Appearance - 0Quality - 0I wish the orders were more consistent!
