This was a gift for father's day for my dad in case of zombie apocalypse, armageddon or maybe just a camping trip. The plastic case was packed full of goodies in every possible space. So full, in fact, I almost couldn't close it after I opened it to check inside. The snaps/latches that hold the box closed are very tight. I have no doubt it's waterproof. It's a little tricky to open so don't go looking for the pocketknife when a bear is chasing you or if you're in a hurry. This is one of those items that's fun to have, but you really don't want to have to use it. I mean, I'm not going to pull out the shiny space blanket if I'm cold when I have a nice comforter on the bed. This was a gift, so I can't say much to the usefulness of each item inside, but my dad seemed to like it when I gave it to him.

Bought it because it was on sale, and I'm pleasantly surprised. The items seem quite sturdy, and there is a very good collection of basic tools. I do wish there was more information inside, but there's nothing particularly unusual about each that a little searching wouldn't tell you. (If not, well... maybe your not ready for survival tools?)The little box had a broken latch, and it's pretty small. I just took the foam pad out, and it closes ok. No biggie. Since I didn't recall it mentioned, I'lladd that... the little flashlight allows you to focus or spread the beam, has three modes (bright, dim and flashing) and only needs 1 AA battery.Overall - pretty neat little set and quite a good value, even at the regular price. If you're an outdoorsman (or woman) you prob already have quality multitools etc in your kit, but this is a good extra set for the car etc.

This is the perfect kit for hiking and or camping. It comes in a hard case to protect everything. And a baggie to hold it in too. You get all in one tools, survival rope bracelet, flashlight, etc. everything is strong, durable quality and easy to use. Best survival kit, just wish the case was big enough to easily fit it all in the case

I was thrilled to get this kit. It has everything I need to go camping and be prepared. The fire starter is perfect. I can't wait to bring it out on my next trip.

I gave it to my brother for his birthday. When he opened it everyone was amazed at everything that fit inside. He was very happy with it but wasn't able to figure out all the uses for the survival card. A card showing all the gadgets would have been nice.

This 13 piece tactical survival kit is pretty cool, includes a saw, tactical pen, knife, emergency blanket, everything new and individually wrapped inside. Perfect for the tactical man, officer, camper or guy who truly believes the zombie apocalypse will come soon. Definitely a bunch of useful stuff . My husband thought it was awesome . It’s not huge so easy to pack while camping.

Horrible! Zero stars if I could. I only typically write reviews if it’s good but I have to warn people that this product is complete garbage that only was the box completely busted but the items inside were scratched and cheap. Safe to say I had to find a replacement gift because I could not give this to anyone!

This is a great product. I only gave it 4 stars because I feel like it could be packed a little better. Other than that, it's awesome. Also I love the spring assist knife, but feel that it could close a little more snugly. That said, the knife it awesome and I love it.
